Choosing A Different Future With Siris What have you heard about Iboga? The experience helped cure his PTSD, a result of his time as a Canadian Soldier in Afghanistan, healed his herniated disk, depression, and marijuana addiction. His experience with Iboga was so extraordinary he knew right away this was how he wanted to help others find their healing. He went to the jungles of Gabon and graduated from his Iboga provider training under Moughenda Mikala. Now, as a N'ganga fully initiated into the Missoko tribe, his passion is to share the traditional Bwiti Iboga experience. Ashana Jones: Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Ashana was the first African American initiated into the Missoko Bwiti Tradition. She went through the Rites of Passage and was trained by Moughenda Mikala, a 10th Generation Bwiti High Shaman, to be a Missoko Bwiti Maboundi (healer). After trying Ayahuasca, magic mushrooms, MDMA and many other healing modalities, none of which did the job, she discovered Iboga. After a single session, it proved to be the one thing that provided the deepest healing possible. Iboga freed her from depression, self-hate and addiction. This experience completely changed her life. After her first experience with Iboga, she knew she had found what she had been looking for: her tradition, her tribe and her life's work.
