Hello everyone! This episode I will be discussing the incident that inspired Theodore Gericault to create the painting “The Raft of Medusa”. This is a true historical incident that happened after a French frigate called “Le Radeau de la Meduse” ran aground in the ocean, and with a combination of incompetence and negligence, 147 people were put onto a makeshift raft in the ocean with horrifying consequences. Please have a listen, and please follow me wherever you listen to podcasts and on all of my socials. Thank you so much, and take care! Hi everyone, this is my long teased and awaited episode about the "Dyatlov Pass Incident".  This is the case of 9 hikers who perished in the Ural mountains in 1959, specifically the "Holatchal Mountain", or "Dead Mountain" on a hiking trip under mysterious circumstances.  I deep dive into what could be the reasons that caused them to perish.  Please subscribe, have a listen, and let me know what you think! Also, let me know what cases you would like me to cover!  Thank you all so much, you are all awesome. Main Source-"Dead Mountain" Donnie Eichar: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/1452140030/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_i_EMNBHRTV9NX193FNTGBD

Rambling Ronnie's Podcast - Episode 8: Sleepaway Camp Review with Mike from Waffle Box Podcast
play

02/15/22 • 58 min

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for tuning in!

*I am having some trouble with my audio that I am trying to figure out the source of. Please bear with the bit of crackling noises that are in the intro and outro. And Kato the cat-he wanted to say hello*

Today, I am talking about a movie called Sleepaway Camp with my very funny guest Mike Fish from The Waffle Box Podcast! We discuss the scenes that really stood out to us, what characters we have sympathy for, and Mike is left wondering: What was the camp director going to have for dinner with his young date? Did Ricky’s plan for capturing the flag actually work? Did anyone even win that game?

Have you seen Sleepaway Camp, dear listener? Do you think you would want to after hearing what we have to say?

Enjoy!

Hi everyone, I’m still learning how to edit, so forgive my errors! This episode, I am flexing my nonexistent interview skills by asking Stephen Warcup some questions about Sim Racing! Steve, also known as “DriverSports”, answers my questions about what Sim racing and iRacing are and when his passion for racing began. I interrupt and say “like” a lot, and Enzo chimes in when nobody asked. Please let me know what you think, did you learn anything new? Are you in the sim racing world? Have you battled DriverSports? Let us know on our social medias, and thank you for listening!
