E396 Preconceived Notions | How Are They Holding You Back?
15 Minutes to Freedom
05/22/19 • 25 min
Bias is inherent. With the way we are raised and the tribes we associate with throughout our life, it’s nearly impossible to eliminate bias from our lives. Our experiences form preconceived notions, especially when dealing with new and novel situations. As you listeners know, I recently interviewed adult film star Kendra Lust. Leading up to this interview, I couldn’t help but speculate on what would happen when arriving at Kendra’s home. I think it’s safe to say most people inherently assume things about an adult film star, 95% of which I’ve realized probably aren’t true. Listen to find out how Kendra dispelled many preconceived notions I walked in with and how I realized my assumptions could be holding me back.

E359 Black Or White | Is It A Hell Yes Or A Hell No?
15 Minutes to Freedom
04/15/19 • 17 min
Are you trapped in the gray space? I’m talking about the area in life where no actual answer exists. It’s the place that ultimately destroys us, because instead of owning ‘yes’ or ‘no’ we find ourselves stuck in the’ maybes'. It's the land of lost dreams, lost hope, and lost time. Committing one way or the other will at the very least solidify an outcome. You either ask the girl out or you don’t. You’ll either buy the car or you won’t. Making a decision gives you the opportunity to assess the results and make an adjustment moving forward. Living in the gray only leads to doubt and fear. Today I’m going to explain to you how I got stuck in the gray and what you can do if you find yourself there.
We only have so many decisions in us each and every day. Consciously or subconsciously, we are constantly in the process of making decisions.

E354 Power Of Intention | When Declaration Creates Attraction
15 Minutes to Freedom
04/10/19 • 23 min
Journaling has been a powerful tool in my life for the last several years. Little did I know how powerful it truly was. While preparing for the Life Optimization Experience, I stumbled upon an old journal of mine. Incredibly, within this journal was a 3.5-year-old plan to create an intense, immersive event in Columbus, OH that would change people’s lives. I’d like to say that the Life Optimization Experience was precisely laid out in this journal, but that would be a lie. Join me today as I explain how the original idea for the event came about, how the journal was rediscovered, and how you can use intention to power yourself moving forward.

E252 Ryan & Lindsay - Lessons From Motherhood
15 Minutes to Freedom
12/29/18 • 35 min
It’s not so easy being a mom. Frequently they are the most under-appreciated people in the world. Where dad’s like to look out for themselves, mom’s are always looking out for other people. I’m not trying to paint with a broad generic brush, but for most this tends to ring true. Today we get to learn how Lindsay deals with the daily challenges of motherhood, and how I’d deal with the same situations if the tables were turned.

E220 Leadership
15 Minutes to Freedom
11/27/18 • 16 min
It is often said that failure is our greatest teacher. For me, that is the case with leadership. Through my failures as a leader, I didn’t learn what a leader is so much as what a leader is not. I thought once I became a manager, the rules no longer applied to me. The truth is, this applied to the rest of my life. Listen to hear my mistakes as a leader and how these same problems could be afflicting you.

E427 Family Week Day 4 | Spending Time With Loved Ones
15 Minutes to Freedom
06/22/19 • 14 min
How often do you work too hard at the office, giving it everything you’ve got in an attempt to earn more, produce more, and achieve a stable and comfortable living? Then immediately after you fight traffic to get home, and then before anything else you go through the never ending list of what is commonly referred to as “adulting,” laundry, trash, dinner, dishes, etc.? By the end of all this, we normally just want some peace and quiet instead of conversation and sharing with our loved ones. We eventually go to sleep, and the cycle continues. There is a way to recalibrate your thoughts, your habits, your life. Remember what it felt like to date your wife, husband, or significant other? It’s that simple, DATE your family. Listen as I walk you through how I learned to stop rushing, stop burning out, and start recalibrating my life by dating each member of my family.
