Our guest for today's episode is Uzodinma Irozuru, a second generation Nigerian immigrant and well-achieved female lawyer in America. She got her JD (Doctor of Law) from Columbia University and is working at a prestigious law firm in Seattle.
What drew us closely together was not her shining career, but her constant struggle between working in the corporate environment and being her authentic self. In this episode, she was brave enough to openly share her vulnerabilities of being a minority living in a predominately white culture and her healing journey as a intergenerational trauma survivor.
This conversation is filled with compassion, joy, pain, fear and most importantly, hope. I hope Uzodinma's personal story could reveal the other side of American dream and shed light on your healing journey. Please enjoy.
