A remake of the 1951 original The Thing From Another World, this interpretation from John Carpenter is far more faithful to the original source material - the short story from John W. Campbell Jr. called "Who Goes There?" At a remote Antarctic research station, the group stationed there runs into a shape-shifting alien menace. As paranoia spreads throughout the team, they quickly discover that their teammates are just as dangerous as this Thing from another world! Who's human? Who's The Thing? Who will survive?

Sybeth and Tormada launch their attack on Pensa as a helpless (and useless) Kofun looks on. Bobba and crew arrive just in time to see the palace destroyed, but don't worry, no one important actually died in the ruthless bombing of the city. Mahgra realizes she's a terrible queen and Harlan's last gift to Haniwa ensures that the citizes of his city might just survive. And never one to back down from a fight, Bobba Voss gets geared up and readies himself to take on Sybeth with the help of his old friend Poopbeard.

Things are coming to a head in House of the Dragon as a succession crisis for House Velaryon forces all the game-players to return to King's Landing to argue their case for Driftmark. The battle lines between the Greens and the Blacks are starkly drawn, and it's up to the severely ill King Viserys to try and quell the conflict before it begins.

And now that the kids are all grown up, the family feud has been passed down to them. Rhaenyra's kids Jace and Luke are at odds with Alicent's kids Aegon and Aemond, and it seems that no matter what Viserys does, the House of the Dragon is destined to be divided.

SEE Season 3 Episode 6 The Lowlands Review have the Salty Nerds divided as to whether his episode was awesome or whether it was the worst one of the season.

Trying to get back to Pensa faster, Boba Voss and his crew decide to take a shortcut and run afoul of a tribe of blind mutant cannibals who end up costing them more time than they would have if they'd gone the long way. Tormada and Snake Queen Sybeth finally meet, and sparks fly. Mahgra and Tamacti Jun form a buddy cop squad and try to solve a murder. And the Pensan guards continue to be useless.

Though this is the final season of the Jason Momoa AppleTV show, this episode seemed very much like a filler episode that distracted from the main story of the season and saw a lot of surprising character deaths that felt hollow in the grand scheme of things. But there's enough fun action in the episode to distract from the massive number of plot holes!
