Bienvenu.e.s dans Ex Expat, le podcast ! Partir c’est une grande aventure, mais revenir aussi. Mon nom est Marjorie Murphy, et après dix ans au Canada, je suis rentrée en France. Un retour assez chaotique, qui a donné naissance à ce projet. Dans Ex Expat le podcast, on donne la parole aux français revenus au pays.

“Il y a des gens qui rentrent comme une lettre à la poste, et pour eux ça se passe bien. Les plus empathiques sont souvent ceux qui ont le plus de mal.”

Nous visiterons les différentes étapes du retour, le fameux choc du retour, le travail, le logement, l’administratif et bien d’autres sujets dans le rire, ou les pleurs.

De leur histoire, chacun a choisi de raconter ce qu’il souhaite : l’enfance, l’exil vers l’Europe, la vie en France, les batailles administratives, le quotidien de l'enfermement en CRA, l’angoisse du retour...

L’objectif de ce podcast est d’enfin faire sortir leur voix, une voix invisibilisée et trop souvent stigmatisée.

Il est aussi l’occasion de rappeler l’impact nocif de l’enfermement et des politiques migratoires actuelles sur les personnes étrangères.

“Là où les voix résonnent : échos de centres de rétention administrative” a été créé par des intervenant.e.s juridiques en rétention de l’association La Cimade.
