These podcasts are to help us live joyfully!...

To create joyful marriages and families and to help us find joy and peace in the midst of our afflictions, and discover that sorrow lets the glory out!

Podcast Series—Sorrow Lets the Glory Out

Here we will interview people who have gone through very difficult experiences.

We will learn what helped them to cope, to endure, and to become better instead of bitter.

We will discuss how we can find joy and peace in the midst of our afflictions, and we will begin to see how sorrow lets the glory out.

Podcast series—Joy in Marriage and Family

Here we will explore ways to help us create joyful and peaceful marriages and families.

We will focus on positive ways in which we can strengthen our relationships, as well as ridding our homes of the things that steal our happiness—such as habits of selfishness, disrespect, abuse, and addictions.

Our quest is for happy, respectful, responsible, competent and confident children, and marriages.

We will share advice from experts, as well as drawing from those who have learned by their own experience.

Podcast Series—Joy in Heroes

We will learn about heroes and how they inspire us to persevere and to do hard things.

Podcast series—Seeing God’s Hand

Interviews that answer the question “How have you seen the hand of God?”

Though each of us comes from different backgrounds and religions, here we can celebrate what we have in common, which is our belief in God.

As we turn to God and exercise faith and trust in him, we will find more joy and peace in our daily lives.

Through faith God will empower us with hope and courage to face whatever trials come our way.

Raise your hand if you've ever...
Felt like God was near, but couldn't figure out what he was asking you to do.
Questioned why if you're doing God's will, your vocation seems SO stinking hard.
Dropped everything to help out a coworker, only to come home paralyzed by decision fatigue because you didn't touch your own to-do list.
My friend, you are in good company! If you are a fellow book buying, course-taking, love to do all-of-the-things while often getting stuck in a state of overwhelm kind of Catholic (or Christian), this is the place for you!
Welcome to the Persistence in Prayer podcast, hosted by Catholic Mindset Coach, wife, mother, educator, and speaker, Kylie Hein. This podcast is where Christian women learn to create space from their circumstances and obligations, so that they can show up mentally present with those that need them most. We explore the beauty and simplicity of life that comes as a result of persistence in prayer, as well as all of the daily trials that come with living a life rooted in Christ.
If you're in a valley and need a friend, we're here. If you're on a peak and ready to shout out your wins to the world, we're here for that too!
Here, you will learn to cultivate a deeper sense of trust in God's plan for your life so that you have clarity in His calling and the courage to go wherever he leads. If you long to give God a more prominent place in your life, but you aren't sure where to begin, stick around. Being a high achiever and having a deep, meaningful prayer life are not mutually exclusive. You don't have to sacrifice your one-on-one time with God to meet the demands of your job, your family, or your schedule. You have a choice. Your fresh start to freedom may be just one episode away.

In the news media, war gets more headlines than peace, conflict more airtime than reconciliation. And in our polarized world, reporting on conflict in a way that frames conflicts as us vs. them, good vs. evil often serves to dig us in deeper. On Making Peace Visible, we speak with journalists and peacebuilders who help us understand the human side of conflicts and peace efforts around the world. From international negotiations in Colombia to gang violence disruptors in Chicago, to women advocating for their rights in the midst of the Syrian civil war, these are the storytellers who are changing the narrative. Making Peace Visible is hosted by Boston-based documentary filmmaker Jamil Simon.

In February this year, the United States and the Taliban signed an agreement that charted a path to ending nearly two decades of war in Afghanistan. If all goes according to plan—and there is much to suggest it won’t—all foreign forces will depart in spring, 2021. Meanwhile, long-awaited intra-Afghan negotiations between the Afghan government and the Taliban are underway, once again in Doha. What will happen next? Will the Taliban uphold its side of the agreement with the U.S.? Will Trump even wait to find out? Will the Taliban concede to a ceasefire with the Afghan National Security Forces? And can President Ghani cling to power and steer the country toward peace? If the agreement fails, or indeed if it succeeds, how will history judge the United States for its role in Afghanistan? And what future will be left behind for Afghans who have variously thrived in, endured and raged against the well-intentioned occupation? As Afghanistan teeters, yet again, on a precipice between hope and despair, Afghanistan After America dissects the issues driving the decisions made in Washington D.C., Kabul, Doha and Quetta, and how they’re playing out on both sides of the battlefield, in the streets and inside homes, mosques and businesses across Afghanistan and beyond. Afghanistan After America draws from events of the past that continue to affect the present and explores Afghanistan’s rich and fraught history through some of those who’ve survived to tell their tales. Afghanistan After America is hosted by Andrew Quilty, an Australian journalist who has lived in Afghanistan since 2013 and reported from most of its provinces, collecting numerous accolades for his work along the way. Afghanistan After America is a place for conversations that go beyond the limits of mainstream media audiences. His guests are Afghans and outsiders from all walks of life with unique and confronting perspectives; they are leading analysts, thought-leaders, humanitarians, journalists, veterans and decision-makers from up and down the numerous tangled chains of command.

Having overcome a near-death experience, I decided to close my life coaching practice (accessible previously on this page) and place my health at the forefront of my journey. My focus has pivoted towards advocating not only for myself but also for others. While life coaching tips will still find their place in my content, my main emphasis is now on patient advocacy through sharing my story. Six months ago, I dove into a career in the AI field, aiming to improve my financial stability in the face of future health instability. I want to clarify that I'm not seeking donations, but as my followers continue to grow - if anyone is moved to support me as an influencer, I'll genuinely appreciate it. In my posts, expect a blend of life coaching, patient advocacy, advice on communicating effectively with doctors, a bit of spirituality, as well as curated self-help and self-care resources from various online platforms. Oh, and humor, lots of humor. While the road to wellness may get slightly bumpier, I hope for many more meaningful years ahead. 🌟 Included are links to my previous content because I want you to see just how much living with chronic health issues impacts everything we experience as as our own advocates. How can we prevent a country from returning to civil war? When and how should external parties intervene in serious conflicts? This album looks at the decade of violence and destruction that occurred in Sierra Leone in the 1990's. Now that peace has finally come about through the efforts of the international community, it's time to debate whether the root causes of war have been adequately addressed, and what lessons can be learned. 50% of Sierra Leoneans are under 15 and unskilled. Lack of education, poverty and unemployment are still rife and it's this lack of development that gives rise to conflict. Views from all sides are presented, including those of women, disaffected youth, members of the RUF and the new peace-keeping forces, to provide an in-depth analysis of the complexities of the aftermath of a civil war. In the academic perspective, Helen Yanocopulos, Senior Lecturer in International Politics and Development at The Open University provides insight into the educational value of the Sierra Leone case study. This material is taken from The Open University course TU875 War, intervention and development.

For most of us, the fear of life arises at, or soon after, our birth. This causes the psychological mechanisms that constitute our mind to develop in an unconscious mental environment that is based on fear--the fear of life itself. This fear of life is a psychological autoimmune disease. In our podcast, we discuss how the fear of life arises, how it manifests in our life, and how it can be eliminated, opening the way to the development of a sane, fearless mind.
