Gretel le Maître likes to look for the beauty and curiosities in life, one day at a time. She shares with you snippets from books about history, art and literature and regularly takes you on adventures to new locations, to explore churches, cathedrals and architecture.
Gretel invites you to accompany her as she navigates the world a day at a time; the podcast is unscripted, it’s ad-free, and you’re invited to join in. There’s space in the warm tent for everyone; there’s tea in the pot 🫖. It’s super unpolished and Gretel would be grateful for you to forgive her for that. Polish would be too time-consuming 🤓
Gretel loves the world and history, architecture, literature and people. And so is determined to walk this path with light footsteps and with humour and warmth. 🌞
Please follow me on X @gretellemaitre. 🌳

“Gretel le Maitre is a podcaster and host of the series Gretel Pod-Ponders Life and Loss with Bede and Other Guests . The podcast explores themes of grief, life transitions, and introspection, particularly focusing on her experiences as she anticipates the loss of her mother. In the series, she combines historical reflections—often inspired by the works of the Venerable Bede, an English monk and historian—with her own musings on architecture, literature, and the natural world. Gretel approaches these deep topics with warmth and humor, aiming to provide listeners a comforting space to explore complex emotions .
If you’re interested, you can listen to her podcast on platforms like Apple Podcasts and Amazon Music, where she shares her reflections in episodes filled with gentle insights and an invitation to journey with her through challenging times .”
In a fast-paced world, Gretel Pod-Ponders Life and Loss provides a much-needed pause and sanctuary for those navigating life’s transitions and searching for deeper meaning. Hosted by Gretel Le Maitre, this unique podcast blends personal storytelling with historical insights from figures like the Venerable Bede, offering listeners an inspiring journey of healing and hope.
With themes of grief, transformation, and spirituality, the podcast has earned praise for its calming tone, authenticity, and ability to connect on a deeply human level. As one listener shared, it feels like sitting down with a trusted friend who understands.
Perfect for audiences seeking introspection, comfort, or simply a quiet moment of reflection, Gretel Pod-Ponders Life and Loss is available now on all major platforms.
Please note, I get daily ad offers that I turn down to keep this an ad-free podcast. So I’d be delighted if you could subscribe to help with my pot of tea and cake on my church crawls 🙋♀️

This is where Catholic women deepen their faith, find peace, and overcome anxiety through prayer and authentic self-development rooted in Catholic truth.
Raise your hand if you've ever...
Placed your worth in praise, perfection, or productivity?
Felt like God was near, but couldn't figure out what he was asking you to do.
Questioned why if you're doing God's will, your vocation seems SO stinking hard.
Dropped everything to help out a coworker, only to come home paralyzed by decision fatigue because you didn't touch your own to-do list.
My friend, you are in good company! If you are a fellow book buying, course-taking, love to do all-of-the-things while often getting stuck in a state of overwhelm kind of Catholic, this is the place for you!
Welcome to the Persistence in Prayer podcast, hosted by Catholic Mindset Coach, wife, mother, educator, and speaker, Kylie Hein. This podcast is where Catholic women learn to create space from their circumstances and obligations, so that they can show up mentally present with those that need them most. We explore the beauty and simplicity of life that comes as a result of persistence in prayer, as well as all of the daily trials that come with living a life rooted in Christ.
If you're in a valley and need a friend, we're here. If you're on a peak and ready to shout out your wins to the world, we're here for that too!
Here, you will learn to cultivate a deeper sense of trust in God's plan for your life so that you have clarity in His calling and the courage to go wherever he leads. If you long to give God a more prominent place in your life, but you aren't sure where to begin, stick around. Being a high achiever and having a deep, meaningful prayer life are not mutually exclusive. You don't have to sacrifice your one-on-one time with God to meet the demands of your job, your family, or your schedule. You have a choice. Your fresh start to freedom may be just one episode away.

Welcome to Anchored Not Anxious, a podcast dedicated to restoring peace and balance through the Word of God and effective anchoring methods to manage anxiety, worry, and stress. Hosted by Terri Hutchinson, a compassionate nurse and mentor.
"I guide others through anxiety because I've experienced its full progression—from childhood financial worries to adult panic attacks. My journey taught me that while medication, professional help is valuable, spiritual anchoring convinced me God brings relief and peace during and after the emotional storm. This integrated approach of professional knowledge, personal experience, and spiritual practice is what I now offer to others who feel trapped in anxiety's grip."
Don't miss out on the monthly Anchored Not Anxious CareLetter, and be sure to follow Terri L. Hutchinson on Facebook for more inspiration and support.
Why do we feel so overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected and lost...and what does that have to do with what's happening on our planet?
This show explores the hidden connections and deeper patterns that are forming our inner struggles and the wider crises unfolding around us. From mental health to ecological collapse, productivity culture to planetary grief, from burnout to reconnection, join me to poke around in the stories, systems and patterns shaping this extraordinary time...
...and then let's riff on what becomes possible when we stop pretending it’s fine and feel the feels.
Your host is me: Siobhán Friel. I'm a mental health practitioner, a Work That Reconnects facilitator and I was probably a lavender plant in a past life.
This podcast offers a way to make sense of your inner and outer world, especially if you were shaped by capitalism (like me) and not by a lineage of ecological literacy, love and wisdom.
You haven't missed the boat. There are many boats and this is one. Get in.

Probably Late To Something is a safe space for young adults all over. In these episodes we will love, laugh, cry & learn without judgment. My hopes for this podcast is that anytime you listen to my voice you learn to listen to yours as well. Growing up in a world clouded by social media leaves many of us shouting just to be heard. Many of us feel alone and confused. We are so ready to be judged that we do it to ourselves. Dancing in the rain, talking to yourself and truly just not giving a fuck seems to have disappeared but I don’t want that. I want to be weird, tell my embarrassing stories, admit my faults, laugh at my mistakes! Life doesn’t have to be so heavy and you sure as heck don’t have to go through it alone. Probably Late For Something is more than just a podcast, its our home. So please stay & join the family baby! :)
