We are here to lead our audiences through a journey and produce some teachable moments along the way. We don’t just talk, we listen! This platform allows us as men to be open with others by first being open with ourselves. During each episode we listen to private recordings from our hosts and guests, producing a unique moment of vulnerability and insight into the mindset of men today. In addition what makes this podcast special is although we do have our moments of fun and laughter, our aim is to get to the core of why we think the way we do and open ourselves up to new perspectives and possibilities, we do this by humanising our guests, its not about promoting products, skills or services, its simply to create opportunities for others to expand on the conversation and expand their minds. Get involved and help empower the next generation through open, honest and refreshing conversations about social and cultural topics. The purpose of this show is to educate people on revolutionary strategy, theory, tactics, and analysis using popular culture. I believe that my 12 years of experience as a political organizer and educator, along with my lifelong nerdom, will allow me to create useful content that can hopefully inspire and support those engaged in changing the world.

We all have that one moment. Seeing something in a new light. That connection with a stranger. A surprising friendship. That story that we hear for the first time or in just new enough a way that changes us. That shifts our perspective, how we look at the world, how we look at our community, and, ultimately, how we look at ourselves. Coming Around is a podcast that highlights seemingly everyday stories that bring us into something new and uncharted. The stories that alter our path, stories that shift our perspective, and stories that move us to coming around on aspects of life that, before, we may have felt would never change, never grow, never move at all. Join Joey Torres in conversations with friends, family, and colleagues- his everyday people- as he explores the stories that changed us. This is Coming Around.

CeeJay Ray and KB have a friendship that spans over ten years and it shows through their chemistry on and off-air. They formed Degrees and Chuck T's, a show rooted in their appreciation for music, especially Hip Hop. CeeJay and KB have the dexterity to give their unfiltered opinions on pop culture, politics, and issues affecting the everyday person. Both graduated with Communications degrees; the ladies of Degrees and Chuck T's exhibit their talents with Marketing, PR, and Production to build their brand. These savvy women have the drive and willpower to focus on the future by creating it. On the other side of the coin, Degrees and Chuck T's are two streetsmart and hilarious badasses. They have their own style and creative process: CeeJay and KB both create and expand ideas on a metaphorical blank canvas. Ask them how they do it, and either one will say, "it just works". CeeJay is the wildcard comedian, there's no telling what she might say. She'll take you on head-to-head. KB has a laid back style, but when she tells you what's on her mind, you just might get your feelings hurt. Tell Grandma this show is not for her. The Degrees and Chuck T's Show does not shy away from any topic nor back down! Expect to laugh out loud and experience great conversation and all around entertainment. Every week we introduce you to an event in American History, policy, and media, then discuss how that historical event impacts the socio-political issues America faces today. We give you The Dig on US History and offer political commentary and opinion, as well as discussion of current news from Progressive perspectives. DoA is an apparent propaganda arm of The Deep State. Probably financed in some way by George Soros, The Clinton Foundation, Jay-Z, maybe even Joe Rogan. Get the Dig with Big Hass, Dutch, Attorney Anna and Mikey as we explore current events in the good ol' USA, with a few pop-culture sprinkles along the way. We interview great guests covering all sides of tough topics from policy to systemic racism to the social messages in film and sports, as well as constitutional issues protected within the Bill of Rights and the history of injustice in America, no matter who's fault it is. You might even get a little smoke in your eye! When you don't know your history, you're doomed to repeat it. Facts don't care about your feelings, right? Criticizing America when she is wrong does not mean you hate America, it means you love her enough to want her to be better. Join us weekly and check out the live stream on YouTube and Twitch. That's sparked a heated debate in the state Capitol between families who have lost loved ones to police, and law enforcement officers who face split-second decisions while performing a dangerous job. Welcome to The Power We Hold podcast. My name is Vanessa Albury. I’m an eco-visual artist who grew up in Nashville, TN, went to college in Charleston, SC, and moved to NYC the day before my interview for graduate school at NYU in March of 2006. I left my apartment of 13 years in Brooklyn and I now live in the world making art and focusing on healing and love. This podcast follows my journey to becoming a better and better ally to people of all our beautiful difference ( BIPOC, LGBTQAI2S+ and fellow non-normative brained and bodied friends, neighbors and strangers) and a better steward of planet Earth, our shared home.
The lovely human and brilliant artist, Caleb Williams is my season 1 co-host on this journey because of her vast talents along with her willingness to have uncomfortable conversations with me and our shared belief in our intentions, integrity and love.
We are here to support you on your journey into better allyship and Earth stewardship with us.. I understand that people tend to listen to other people who look and sound like they do, so I’ve created this podcast to provide an example of how to navigate uncomfortable and even difficult conversations about race, gender, brains, bodies and the planet as a white person.
Also I'm in the non-normative brain category. I have narcolepsy with cataplexy from C-PTSD. I am by no means perfect. I will step in it, say the wrong thing, and I’m committed that being ok and to digging deeper and learning.
For those of you listening who are BIPOC, LGBTQAI2S+ and non-normative embodied, I thank you for listening and participating in the education process of informing the privileged classes of your experience of racism, sexism, ageism, body-ism and all the -isms in America and the world. I understand that is a generous action and I’m grateful to you.
My intention is for this podcast to give you, and us all really, hope for a future of equality and faith that many white, straight, generally normative people are on your side and truly want to create a better, equal and sustainable world together.
To get there, to understand each other, we must discuss uncomfortable topics and learn how to relate to each other through them.
With deeper understanding of each other, we can truly love each other. Thank you for joining me on this journey exploring The Power We Hold.
