Travell, Bryce and myself sit down for a much needed episode about the conflict I have within myself. This is Tyree Roberts’ tell all episode, take it for what it is but I spilled my heart out and wanted to say more but ran out of time. You want to understand my mind check this out
Also this podcast is truly dedicated to the black community and diagnosing what racism has done to our mental health, so if that’s not for you I completely understand but I will not change the outlook to make people more comfortable, we NEED to have these uncomfortable conversations, it’s been time

Establishing mental health care early, becoming more in tune with your emotions as a black American male! And finally humanizing black men in this country, it’s been LONG overdue. Political conversations involving “Us vs them” shouldn’t focus on race so much as it should power. Spreading love and positivity through paying it forward.

Disclaimer!!!!! This episode was our first but not even close to our best. There were audio issues we had on here that we figured out after this
Open discussion about black men’s mental health and how it has affected us and how we have seen others around us affected as well
Introducing Bryce Roberts and Tyree Roberts, two men trying to make a change for the better in our community and in our world. This is a way for us to broaden our minds as well as yours. So please feel free to critique, give feedback or just sit back and listen to us as we dive into the problems of everyday life living in a world where love is hard to find and we give a gritty reality of what it’s like to be in our shoes. If anyone listening at any point feels they want to use our outlet to express what they have on their mind do not be afraid to reach out, we are all going through something, the worse thing you can do is keep it bottled in

Music and mental health, can they tie hand in hand? This episode was wonderful for a few reasons, first of all this was our first episode we did on an off day second we got my boy AK Stacks (check out his music on Apple, Spotify and other streaming services under the name Plug Lightyear!)
We started it with music and ended with education, social awareness and being able to differentiate the love of money and the need of money being evil. This was a very important episode and I hope who needs to hear it does!
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers in the world holding it down, we couldn’t do this without
Support my boy AK Stacks journey and follow along, he’s definitely up next and can’t wait to have him back on

Y’all know what time it is, back in action once again for Episode 16! Had an great guest come on to chop it up with the guys, we spoke on a variety of topics from the struggles of being a step father, having the same energy for men throughout their whole life, Chris Rocks “Tambourine” and strong support systems. Definitely topics that can’t get old because we all need to collectively make this world a better place and these conversations are extremely necessary for that!

RIP Walter Wallace Jr. 🙏🏾
We are back and in person with our second to last episode of the season. I couldn’t have been more happy with these two men we had on to join us for this all over the board discussion about mental health and the effects of the N word and WHY we specifically try not to say it on our show and asking questions about “who truly does get the pass?” With the election coming up next week (VOTE!!!) we dive in on some hard topics about family members and differing of views from one another in close proximity as well as touch on the basis of code switching. And last but MOST CERTAINLY not least we discussed policing in America and how it needs to be better, as well as finding a common ground on “split second” decision making. Mental health needs to be taken into consideration when dealing with human beings out here, point blank. This was a tough one but this was a needed episode and I hope y’all enjoy it, at the end of the day all we want to be seen as is human beings and I won’t stop reiterating that. Humanize black men and let’s spread love and figure out how and where do we go from here. Take care of your mental health, take care of YOU no matter what.
S/O “Why should I give a damn” podcast, we love y’all keep doing what y’all are doing

Season 4 is up and running!!
Super excited to launch this season with a new group of gentlemen to discuss black men and overall men’s mental health with you all. In this very special first episode we had a generational dynamic here with (outside of our own) father and son discussion on mental health and more on that point, a black father and a black son discussing and conversing with us on many hard hitting issues surrounding our community and our lives. Of course we had many laughs and we also had some gems dropped from person in attendance. We recorded off-site at Tim Retic’s barbershop “Forever Faded” in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Definitely check him out, comes highly recommended from me personally. Couldn’t wait to drop this episode because it’s definitely up high on the list of favorites. We hope everyone has been “brushing” their mental health and has been maintaining in this post pandemic world we are living in. Keep on it and just know there are people like us who care and would love to have you on sometime to discuss if you’d like! Always feel free to reach to out, either to myself Tyree Roberts or my brother Bryce for more details or contact us by email found below 🙏🏾
