The best podcasts for AI News & Tools

Who am I?

Hi there! I’m a podcaster with a long background in traditional and digital media who’s been enamored with what AI means for the future of nearly everything. With my old friend Kevin Pereira (we both used to work at G4’s Attack of the Show), each we we dig into the latest in AI news and tools and always do something dumb and very fun with them. I’ve been living and breathing AI for the last six months but also have been deeply thinking about these sorts of technologies for a VERY long time. It’s something that everyone deserves to learn about and ultimately needs to dive in to get the full picture.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

AI For Humans is a podcast started specifically to make the new AI news and tools more accessible to regular people. So often AI pods are either super technical or very productivity driven and we take the approach that this needs to be educative but also fun. It’s about exploring and being curious about this new world and trying things that others might not think about that will likely make you laugh.

What is my podcast playlist about?

There’s a ton of great AI podcasts out there (most are a little more serious than ours) but we really love diving into these each week to get a sense of all the new things happening and being discussed.

The podcasts I picked and why

1. Hard Fork

Why this podcast?

We love Hard Fork for its incredible discussions of how AI is affecting society and the small little things that could become even bigger. Kevin Roose & Casey Newton have a great vibe and their journalistic backgrounds get them access that others can’t get.

4. No Priors: Artificial Intelligence | Technology | Startups

Why this podcast?

This pod is often more from an investor’s standpoint as both hosts are VCs investing in the space but the production is top notch and some of the guests have been really incredible.

At this moment of inflection in technology, co-hosts Elad Gil and Sarah Guo talk to the world's leading AI engineers, researchers and founders about the biggest questions: How far away is AGI? What markets are at risk for disruption? How will commerce, culture, and society change? What’s happening in state-of-the-art in research? “No Priors” is your guide to the AI revolution. Email feedback to [email protected]. Sarah Guo is a startup investor and the founder of Conviction, an investment firm purpose-built to serve intelligent software, or "Software 3.0" companies. She spent nearly a decade incubating and investing at venture firm Greylock Partners. Elad Gil is a serial entrepreneur and a startup investor.
