Podcaster Q&A

Tell us about yourself – what is your background?

My father was a domestic missionary so we moved around every couple of years. I had to learn to start over again and again. I had a lot of jobs over the years because I didn't know what I wanted to do for a long time. What I discovered was no matter where I went and what idid, the common theme always came back to me teaching other people whatever I was doing. I was always the trainer on the team. From Youth Ministry, to construction work to Enterprise level IT. Same story

Why did you get into podcasting?

I started righting a book, so i started social media to prepare for it to be done. To grow an audience for the book release. Turns out I am bad at social media and I hate it. I started the podcast because I have been actively involved in public speaking since I was 11. It seemed like a good medium and I enjoy podcast myself. 3 years later my show is thriving and the book is still at the same point, I found my voice and medium. Maybe one day I will finish the book too.

How did the idea for the show come about?

The show idea came from the concept behind the book. , no fluff, no B.S. Just real solutions snd ideas for men on a journey of growth and personal development from a man on the same journey.

What do you hope listeners take from the show?

With every episode, that is the first question I ask myself. From the guest I book to the solo shows, that is my first question and concern when we start putting the show together. Each episode is meant to have AT LEAST 1 actionable takeaway to support men in their own journeys. Not every show will hit it out of the park for every listener because we are all at different places on our journeys. You might be further along than the idea on that episode, but not on the next.

What's been the biggest challenge for you?

Financial difficulties. I put a lot of money, time and love into producing a quality show for our listeners and getting it out to more people because I want to impact the world. Not everyone takes their show to the point of it being a buisness, but I have (my choice) and that comes with cost.

How can your listeners support your show?

We have a lot of options for degrees of support. We have AD slots and plans available for businesses that align with our show. We have "Patreon: and "Buy Me A Coffee" for one time or regular support. We also have our own line of Merch on our Website All Options can be pursued through my Website: https://www.thefallibleman.com/
