Tell us about yourself – what is your background?
I own a birth and postpartum doula agency. I have also worked in political and nonprofit fundraising in the past.
Why did you get into podcasting?
I wanted a way to give our clients free information on resources related to pregnancy, birth, and early parenting by interviewing experts. We started Ask the Doulas podcast in 2017 after starting on a local radio program and transitioning to a podcast.
How did the idea for the show come about?
We wanted to answer questions our birth and postpartum doula client had.
What do you hope listeners take from the show?
That they have options.
What's been the biggest challenge for you?
Marketing the podcast and finding sponsors.

Any future plans that you'd like to share?
We are working on a book based on our Becoming A Mother course. It is in the final editing stages.
