Tell us about yourself – what is your background?
It's usually a green background so I can add myself to any space. I'm a professional voice actor and audio book narrator. I'm a karaoke enthusiast, sometime community theater actor, and loving cat dad to 8 fur kids. I believe strongly in equal rights for all, that Love is Love is Love, and that life is rough enough already so why make it any rougher? Spread joy, love and sunshine!
Why did you get into podcasting?
Since I wasn't getting very many auditions, and even fewer callbacks, I decided to take matters into my own hands and read whatever the hell I wanted. So I found a lot of old public domain stories that weren't getting a lot of love, and gave them a voice and another day in the sun.
How did the idea for the show come about?
I overheard some people at work saying that they were listening to a podcast where someone was reading Grimm's Fairy Tales - and I literally said out loud "Well, heck, I can do THAT!" Three weeks later I released my first episode.
What do you hope listeners take from the show?
A little bit of knowledge about where these stories come from, and that stories, no matter how old, deserve to be heard several times.
What's been the biggest challenge for you?
Getting listeners on board with the whole idea of someone reading old public domain stories. I didn't think it would be this tough a sell.

Any future plans that you'd like to share?
I'm going to keep doing this until it's no longer fun. Then I'll stop for a few weeks and start again.
