Podcaster Q&A

Tell us about yourself – what is your background?

I am an international musician, composer and a podcast producer from the UK and currently based in Asia. My Soundvibe podcast show was originally founded in 2022, serving as a celebration of art and diversity, truth and expression. I have worked for over 40 years within education and entertainment sectors as a Music Therapist, Music Teacher, Performer, Entertainment host and public speaker.

Why did you get into podcasting?

I started this show in 2022 as I was based in Asia and wanted to create a platform that was different for myself as a songwriter, MC and Hostess to communicate and develop a deeper conversation about music, the arts, diversity and individuality. There are many powerful artists that have inspired me, some alive and some now on the other side and I believe that we can learn a great amount as human beings by accessing our creative and intuitive powers to serve humanity and create a greater globe.

How did the idea for the show come about?

I was locked down in Asia for almost three years and unable to connect with communities, cultures and artists as I normally would. Hence I was looking for a digital platform to drive me forward and that could be long lasting. Podcasting looked so interesting and a new way for growth and has continually proved to be so.

What do you hope listeners take from the show?

I hope that listeners are able to relax, sit back and absorb the unique perspectives that the artists and creatives share on my show. Some of them have been through incredible challenges, struggles and reaped huge successes in terms of their artistic creations and they are keen to share their insights, perspectives with others. It's so much fun to do and everyone who has listened in so far has loved it, as much as I do creating the show itself.

What's been the biggest challenge for you?

Time is always a factor and I have to be organised for this show.

How can your listeners support your show?

It really helps me if you can share my show with others, if you like an episode, please let your friends know. I'm here to spread the words of my own creations and those of other artists who serve to speak and walk their truth and in doing so inspire, uplift and pave the way for others.

Any future plans that you'd like to share?

I've many new episodes coming as I collaborate with creatives around the globe in new and inspiring ways.

Anything else you'd like to share?

Thanks for listening in folks! And feel free to drop me a line to let me know who you are.
