Tell us about yourself – what is your background?
I'm a scientist and a teacher, so I'm a science educator. I teach high school science.
Why did you get into podcasting?
As Bunsen and Beaker's account grew on social media I found it frustrating to get complex science breakdowns across, so the Pawdcast was made. It's been a joyful journey!
How did the idea for the show come about?
I wanted to break down topic science, pet science and interview amazing people.
What do you hope listeners take from the show?
I want listeners to have fun, learn something but also in the interview section realize that scientists are just normal people who know a TON about one specific subject.
What's been the biggest challenge for you?
I have two jobs - being a teacher and now running the Bunsen and Beaker social media accounts (which are growing). Finding time is tough!
