Brigitte is a local kid from the Champagne village where Claire lives with the Greno family. She is an old soul at heart - filled with stories and joy as well as a desire to escape the village. Adopted by Claire's group of friends - all young women, all Champagne tour guides far from home for the summer who want to be her CoolAunts. It turns out that Brigitte the local kid is leading them through their summer in Champagne. She is well on her way to becoming a CoolAunt.

During each of those summers, while working in their vineyard and in the Champagne Houses, Claire became a part of the Greno family, forming a lifelong connection to people she truly admired. Charlotte is truly an inspiration for Claire.
