Clay felt he needed to find a way to get people to understand the lasting affects domestic violence on families and communities and that domestic violence is not limited to persons of any particular race, culture, or socio-economic background or gender; women can also be batterers’. Raw, deeply entrenched in unapologetic emotion, & soul. These are just a few words to describe the timeless sound of R&B singer-songwriter Tanya Nolan. Not your average musical artist, Tanya’s impressive gift of a voice carries inspiration from an era when R&B was still known as Rhythm & Blues, she is influenced by icons such as Billie Holiday, Chaka Khan, Minnie Ripperton, and Quincy Jones. Born and raised in Galveston, Texas, Tanya is a self-proclaimed Southern girl through and through armed with Proclamations from the City of Houston as well as Galveston. Her unique musical journey began as a percussionist in her Middle School band which later evolved into her role as one of the first female frontline drummers at Grambling State University in Louisiana. Continuing to break down barriers, Tanya’s route towards becoming a professional artist has been far from typical. First and foremost, Tanya is a hugely successful entrepreneur within the childcare services industry. She owns the largest upscale childcare learning facility in Galveston County, Aww Better Childcare Center. She also owns a Licensed Child Care Center for over 16 years in Galveston, TX Nolan’s Child Care Center LLC. Unable to ignore a divine calling to sing and produce music, Tanya’s business empire has enabled her to pursue a second career in music. Tanya’s lyrical prowess often waxes poetic about love and joy, but also the pain and heartache that often intertwines with it. Her authentic words and relatable storytelling have attracted a strong following of loyal fans who listen to her music via top radio stations, satellite radio, in addition to national streaming platforms inclusive of Spotify, Apple Music, and iHeart Radio. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Tanya’s video treatments often reflect the romantic relationship between two women, with Tanya’s wife even starring as her love interest in her 2019 “All For You” video. Following the success of her songs “No Pressure,” and “Smile on My Face,” Tanya’s latest single, “Good Woman,” is gaining traction across national radio and debuted as the #2 most added song to R&B radio stations across the country. “Good Woman” is sure to become an anthem as many of Tanya’s fans will sympathize with the notion of having a partner who does not appreciate having “a Good Woman like me” as Tanya echoes throughout the melodic ballad. When Tanya isn’t making and performing music, or planning her expansion of Aww Better Childcare Center, she enjoys mentoring younger artists, developing real estate, and spending time with her wife of 7 years.

Discover an amazing story right here!

Prodded by a childhood haunting, an ostensible descendant of KING ROBERT I, the Bruce of Scotland, takes a side road to his mother's family burial ground at the Dunfermline Abbey in Scotland to pay homage. Enlightenment prompts him to join in the seven-century-old debate over the proximity of his progenitor, Sir Thomas de Bruys, to the King.

Near the end of the eighteenth dynasty in Egypt, a bold daughter of a heretic Pharaoh flees after turning an infant-THE SENTINEL, to stone, using powers inherited from an Egyptian goddess. Millennia later in 1306, where the hills reply to the cries of the lost hunter's horn, thirty-two-year-old ROBERT seizes the throne of Scotland by an act of sacrilege-enabled by his Church, a black knight, and the Countess who crowned him. His twenty-two-year-old wife and QUEEN, Elizabeth de Burgh, confronts rivalry with the Countess while fearing destruction by her father's best friend-the mercurial Edward I (Longshanks), King of England. While shepherding her seven-year old stepdaughter, MARJORIE, to safety after ROBERT flees, she calls out for the SENTINEL of pharaoh's daughter to rescue them but fails. Excommunicated and imprisoned, the deprived QUEEN falls to starvation and delirium, but rescued by a manipulative man from Jerusalem-her jailor-he dumps an infant onto her lap, as hers. Fearing the child is the SENTINEL, or ROBERT's son by the Countess, she names him THOMAS....

Yaya Diamonds Dream Chasers Radio - Unforgettable Story of a 12 Year Old in 1989: T.G. Monahan's 'Dreamin' in 89
play

03/08/23 • 16 min

Amazon Book It's the summer of 1989. Batman owns the box office, Milli Vanilli rules the airwaves, stone-washed Cavariccis are all the rage... and Sebastian Riggs has bigger problems than being made to do the school bullies' homework or winning the attention of the coolest girl in his class. The one thing in the world he desperately needs is the one thing he can't seem to get: a vintage stunt radio-controlled airplane—the Dreamin'. Seb's mission is clear: make enough money to buy the Dreamin' and become a world-renowned R/C pilot, thereby earning his father's respect... or fail and remain a tormented loser for life. The stakes couldn't be any higher and summer job opportunities are in short supply. Finding obstacles at every turn and help in some surprising places, Seb embarks on a mission to fulfill his dreams of R/C glory and prove to the world he's a force to be reckoned with. But in a small town built on well-kept secrets, could his dream bring everyone's dark side to light? Praise for Dreamin' in '89 "T.G. Monahan convincingly conveys the awkwardness and uncertainty of adolescence while he vividly conjures the spirit of the late 1980s in this story of boyhood. The protagonist is especially well portrayed, although readers may question his single-mindedness. Monahan sensitively humanizes bullies, avoiding reducing them to caricatures. A redemption story for a boy whose carelessness has serious consequences, this work takes a fresh and candid approach to classic themes of growing up.” —The BookLife Prize "Dreamin in '89, a captivating storyline with a tumbling twist through a prominent era of history, is woven with intriguing scene and characters that make us remember our own youth. The nostalgia, the yearning for more, the longing to be somebody and the realization of what actually matters: friends sticking together and dreams coming to life." —Chloe Rachel Gallaway, author of The Soulful Child: Twelve Years in the Wilderness "A moving tale of one young man's journey to discovering what really matters in life. T.G. Monahan writes characters who either feel like your best friends or make you want to save them. A joy to read!"—Lorraine K. Toth, author of Run "Dreamin' in '89 is outstanding with a well-presented storyline. Amazing author! Amazing book!" —Javier Ferrea, Retired Aviator, Current Sim Instructor and Author of To Live and Fly in the USA and The Gift of Travel https://www.podserve.fm/w/yayadiamond

Michael Patrick Tryon Discusses His Groundbreaking Novel: Illusive Innocence Henry and Barby are neighbors, classmates, and more. Barby's family is affluent and well-to-do, while Henry's family leads a simple life on a small income. Feelings of ambivalence pervade young Henry's adolescence as he becomes involved with both Barby and her sister. Brandy, Barby's older sister, seduces Henry, and their secret sexual escapades entrap them in a love they try to ignore. As Henry struggles to endure the love of two sisters, college and careers carry them into adulthood. Then tragedy strikes, and the two families unite as they try to hold on to some kind of normalcy. These were the innocent years. The two teenagers sat and talked while warming themselves. "Henry, I hate you." Henry looked at Barby bewildered." What did I do now?" Barby reached out and pulled his hair over his head covering his face. "Your hair looks nicer than mine. I refuse to associate with a boy who has hair like that. It's bad enough that it's longer but it looks nicer too!" He looked at her rolling his eyes back and forth. "So wash it once in a while." She slapped him across his shoulder with her open palm. "Ouch," she said. "Now you are trying to hurt me." Her face broke into a repressed grin. "Barby, you hit me, 1 didn't hit you." She pouted now, sticking out her bottom lip. "Do you think I'm pretty?" Henry put his hands over his face hiding his response. "I think Brandy is pretty," he said in a low voice-almost a whisper.
