In this special bonus episode, we look and analyze at the UIL alignment for 2024-26 that was released this morning, February 1, that has identified which district the Wylie Pirates will play in for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years. We will also continue discussion about possible non-district opponents for the Pirates in this alignment. In this special bonus episode of Wylie Football Weekly recorded on Friday, December 8, 2023, we run through all of the Pirates who have received All-District Academic and Athletic Honors and also discuss the UIL cutoffs for 6A and lower classifications which were released today. In connection with this, we discuss possible districts the Pirates could end up in and discuss possible non-district opponents. Unless there is something breaking in the next couple of months, we will be back in February 2024 when the UIL announces the district alignments for 2024-2026! In this episode, we ask where you want Wylie to end up in terms of a district for 2024-2026, and also ask who you want to see Wylie play in non-district games in this upcoming alignment.
