Woman Redeemed

In this episode of Woman Redeemed, we are picking up our weapons and facing the ground zero battlefields of our minds head-on. I share some of my own struggles with my thought life this past month and the tools that I have learned over the past few years that have helped me fight and WIN the battle over my mind.
Whether it be a reoccurring thought pattern, a sneak attack from nowhere, or just tips on how to be kinder to your own mind, this discussion is meant to empower and equip you to be the victor of your thoughts and not the victim. We are more than conquerors through Jesus and today is the day to remind yourself of just that!

On this episode of Woman Redeemed, I am so incredibly honored to introduce the lovely, genuine, and incredibly wise- Rebecca Pichardo.
Today's conversation is one of the heaviest and most emotional that I have had on this podcast, but it is also one of the most necessary. Grief is real, unfortunately, and it is something we all experience many times in our lives. But grief is also one of the conversations we tend to shy away from. We are afraid that if we talk about it, it will become real, and that scares us.
With vulnerability that inspires and wisdom that teaches, Sister Pichardo shares her own journey with grief. She shares how grief teaches, how it changes, and how Jesus uses it as a tool to show us our need for a merciful and loving God.
To all those who are walking with grief, this is a gift of encouragement from our hearts to yours. May you know that the heaviness of this pain will lessen over time, there is light at the end of this dark season, and that we serve a powerful and good God. One who will take all of our pain and use it for His purpose.

Today on Woman Redeemed, I have the honor of introducing you to one of my dearest friends, the wonderful and artistic, Katy Wevodau.
"This is not a story of the faithfulness of Katy, but it is a story of the faithfulness of God and His steadfast love for His children."
That is the text I got from Katy after we recorded today's episode, and I believe it sums up the heart of our conversation together and who Katy is as a person. Today's topic is depression and anxiety, specifically, Katy's personal experience with both.
With incredible vulnerability, Katy accounts her story, from youth through early motherhood, and how, after the birth of her fourth child, it all came to a boiling point. She shares the miraculous moments, the confusion, the highs and lows, and what the Lord taught her through it all.
