Spring-Heeled Jack

Victorian England was overcrowded and in the midst of an Industrial Revolution. As fears of the mechanized future hung heavy on the minds of the people of London, something else was prowling the shadows.
This boogeyman was a fire-breathing demon able to leap unnaturally high over walls and accross courtyards. His targets were the young women of London who he would grab from the darkness with metallic claws while vomiting blue flames. Rumors of who or what he was ranged across every conceivable notion and yet he was never captured or identified.
