Dear Media, Whitney Port

I'm Whitney Port, and a lot has happened since you last saw me on The Hills. For starters, I'm a mom, I got married to the love of my life, Timmy, I run a business outside of fashion - it's time we finally catch up. There are so many facets that make up my life: relationships, parenthood, entrepreneurship, beauty, fashion, health, wellness and much more. Join me each week as we meet and discuss all these topics and more with trusted experts and favorite people on earth. Hopefully, we can embark on this new journey together with openness, honesty and a little bit of Whit.

When I was in D.C., I had the privilege of interviewing two amazing individuals and survivors. Dion Green who lost his father in the Dayton Ohio shooting, and Megan Dearman who lost her 6 year old cousin in the Aurora movie theater shooting. I feel so strongly about giving them the space to share themselves and their stories. We cannot become numb and turn away, we have to listen and support each other. I cannot thank Dion and Megan enough for opening up to me so beautifully, it's something I'll never forget.

Empty house all to myself called for a new solo audio journal! A lot of you have questions about reality TV. So I went into a reflective dive on my experience filming 'The Hills' and 'The City' while answering the question if I'd ever do reality TV again. I also updated you on everything going on with me - what I'm grateful for, recovering from our disaster Europe trip, interviewing for Sonny's next school (HIGH PRESSURE), and more. Finally, I shared advice on finding room for light during a potentially heavy week during Thanksgiving. My heart is with everyone who will feel emotional holes this week. Lean on your loved ones extra hard.

With Whit - Date Night With Timmy & a Bottle of Wine
play

01/23/24 • 42 min

What is up, how are we all? We got a little dressed up, brought a bottle of wine into the studio, and cranked up the energy of this date night, starting with my relationship with my boobs, our therapists, the pros and cons of taking Sonny to Hawaii with us, and generally how we're settling into this grand new year so far. Also, the Bear isn't that good and Taylor Swift should chill about Jo Koy's joke. Cheers to Blend!

It’s me, again! Here to answer a lot of questions you had for me about mental health. Per the norm, talking about all of this with you was so cathartic, so thank you for asking me!! I have recently come to understand that I battle with imposter syndrome. I honestly haven’t really known what that meant, but I definitely have it. Feeling like my life was handed to me on 'The Hills' and 'The City' has made me feel like I haven’t earned my career. The reality is that 100% isn’t true. I have made the life that I have for myself with hard work and I am proud of it. During this episode, I talk about imposter syndrome, my therapy journey, mantras that help me battle my inner voice, grief, and lots more. I hope this is helpful to each of you trying to find your way! Don’t be afraid to be yourself.

With Whit - End Gun Violence. How? Constant Pressure.
play

06/13/23 • 42 min

TRIGGER WARNING. There is something you can do to prevent mass shootings. I spoke with Kitty Brandtner, the Chicago-based founder of March Fourth -- a nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy group on a mission to federally ban assault weapons. She shared actionable steps we take to help end gun violence. On top of that, she helped me understand WHY there is so much gun violence in our country + how the government can end the use of assault weapons in civilian hands. March Fourth is on a singular mission to keep us all safe, not just lucky. Weapons of war simply shouldn’t be accessed by civilians. Follow @march_fourth_ to help take action. Visit wemarchfourth.org for more information! This episode is brought to you by CLEARSTEM and Ready, Set, Food. CLEARSTEM Skincare is the only anti-aging and anti-acne skincare line with zero hormone disruptors and zero toxins. Go to Clearstemskincare.com and use code WITHWHIT for 15% off your order. I lost my grandmother to Alzheimer’s disease and it was a completely devastating experience to endure. Once I learned there were preventative measures that could be taken, I knew I had to educate myself further...for me, my family and you! I was introduced to Dr. Lisa Mosconi, an incredibly admirable woman working hard on Alzheimer’s research. She is the Director of the Women’s Brain Initiative and Associate Director of the Alzheimer’s Prevention Clinic at Weill Cornell Medical College, where she serves as an Associate Professor of Neuroscience in Neurology and Radiology. She is the author of the new book, The XX Brain: The Groundbreaking Science Empowering Women to Maximize Cognitive Health and Prevent Alzheimer’s Disease.

With Whit - My Husband Does Some Annoying Sh*t
play

03/17/20 • 31 min

Timmy and I have been together for almost a decade. We spend almost ALL of our time together. We fight, but this isn't really about that. This episode is about all the little things that drive us nuts, but we choose not to bring up so we don't get into a fight. These are our pet peeves. We've agreed that this is a safe space where we can air our grievances in a fun way. These are just the tip of the annoying iceberg, so if you guys like this we can certainly produce more! Don't worry though, we love each other the MOST.

09/24/21 • 2 min

Summer of Gold tells the story of the 1996 Olympic Games through the lens of the women Olympians who dominated that summer. From the “Magnificent Seven" gymnasts to the USA women’s basketball, soccer and softball teams all winning gold (and becoming cultural phenomena), to the founding of the WNBA, 1996 altered the course of history for American sports generally and women athletes in particular. In celebration of the 25th anniversary, Summer of Gold provides an unrivaled perspective on one of the most important moments in American sports and cultural history. Hosted by Michelle Kwan.
