Tell Us What You Think

Introducing one of our sponsor’s podcast show called The Flourishing Footprints Podcast! The podcast helps anyone who is aiming to make the footprints of their life’s journey lead them to a flourishing future! This week Tahja Norman talked about not letting other people’s opinion get to you. “Most people don’t even like themselves, so why would you care if they don’t like you? Your perception of yourself is all that matters. If they don’t like you for who you are, that shouldn’t bother you. See yourself in a positive light, ignore the critics & decepticons, and keep on flourishing!” - Tahja

Tell Us What You Think

Bianca Clarke is an American singer, songwriter, and rapper, born in Mobile, Alabama. Bianca always knew music was her calling, at a very young age started honing her skills by singing in her local church’s choir. As a result of her love for all things music, she naturally started writing poems and her own songs. Throughout her youth, Bianca continued to listen to great artists such as Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, Trina and Lil Wayne, which helped her to further understand the makings of a hit record. After graduating high school, Bianca decided she wanted to round out her musical skills by merging her natural talent with a formal education in the art of music.Bianca then started attending the Art Institute of Atlanta, where she studied music production and sound engineering. Quickly making a name for herself around the campus. By the end of her first year Bianca decided it was time to pursue music full time. Bianca independently released her debut mixtape “Triple Threat” producing the local hit “Tattoo,” which caught the ear of the music director at the Cumulus-owned radio station, 93BLX, in Mobile, Alabama, and was instantly added into rotation. With her record blasting on the airwaves and her name buzzing in the city, Bianca began to invade the open mic circuit of Alabama performing at every showcase, industry function and local venue with an audience.

Tell Us What You Think

Black Culture, History and Music. The J. Morris Journey. When people think about community service, black history, and culture, people often have J. Morris in mind. Always musically inclined, his artistic destiny was prophesied to be at a local church years before his birth. Starting off as a natural on drums, his talent went from banging on pots and pans to playing horns for his church. J. Morris kept growing his musical appetite and went from playing for the church to start a high-school band called the “Essential Sounds Band”. It was Go-Go music catering to the local market and the band was embraced from Washing D.C. to Dale City, Virginia. Two American locations knee deep in not only historic culture but black history
