Episode 63 (Joakim Andersson)
The boys had some fun this week discussing Dustin’s newest hobby and other adult toys...Wait....that sounded weird... Anyway, you’ll just have to listen for that part. After goofing around, the fellas discussed the breakdown of the past week for the Winged Wheelers. Starting off a bit slow against the Panthers then ending with a big dub in Tampa (first regulation win in Tampa since February 2011).
Some exciting news for the podcast! We now have a phone line to call into: (616) 287-2515. You can now leave us voicemails, and here’s the best part: it can literally be about ANYTHING. You can chirp us, feed us some topics, or even throw some questions our way - hockey related or not. We’re very excited for this new part of the show as we aired our first VM from a guy who calls himself “the commissioner”.... so it’s been a great start to say the least!

Wing Sauce- Episode 57 Derek Roehl
Wing Sauce
02/22/21 • 89 min
Episode 57 (Mitch Callahan)
The boys this week had on Derek Roehl. Derek played quite extensively over in Europe, however not before he made his name known in collegiate hockey for the Western Michigan Broncos. Derek has played with quite a few different former and current Red Wings. While at WMU, he played with blue-liner Danny DeKeyser and NHL/AHL tough guy Luke Witkowski. Oh... did we mention that same team was coached by the Red Wings current bench boss, Jeff Blashill? He has quite the stories from his collegiate career - especially when he was reminiscing on the days of hanging at “The Bin,” which is the Broncos hockey house on campus in Kalamazoo. This is a two part interview as we had so much to discuss from his days playing for Little Ceasars to his NAHL/USHL to his collegiate career, that we didnt want to rush his stories.

Episode 55 (Niklas Kronwall)
It was back to the roots with Tyler and Dustin -- Connor decided to go ski some slopes in Colorado and left the boys to take on the episode by themselves this week.
There was a LOT to discuss regarding the boys in the winged wheel. Dropping 8 straight games has some people wondering what the answer is... maybe coaching?
Fantasy round-up has been delayed one week due to the simple fact that Tyler was dealt his first loss and is salty about it. Dustin and Tyler also tease some upcoming interviews for the pod!

Episode 53 (Mortiz Seider)
The boys this week had on the amazing photojournalist Kate Frese. Kate currently contributes to The Athletic and PhillyVoice. She is also a photo editor for the NBA, and the Riveters team photographer. Kate has found her eye in sports photography as well as concert photography. Kate contributes her love for the camera from her mother, who use to take photos as her time as a school teacher. Kate is a Philly Flyers fanatic, she has quite a few different favorite players among the Flyers. She also had a very cool tradition that her and Wayne Simmonds did at every game. We really enjoyed having her on the podcast and look forward to watching her continue to rock it out with her career.

Wing Sauce - Episode 171 - We are back!
Wing Sauce
01/22/24 • 24 min
Connor and Dustin are back after taking time for a quick Winter Break, with Christmas and New Years its always hard to find a time to record. But the boys are back and so are the Red Wings. The Wings have been playing an elevated level hockey that was reminiscent to how they started the season. They have found their way back into playoff contention currently sitting with a wild card spot after winning against Tampa last night. Speaking of Tampa, the boys recorded before the game, but WOW! Lets go LIONS.
Patrick Kane is looking to nurse an injury and get back to skating, he did not skate the last two games on the road for the Wings. The Wings need to continue this elevelated play if they want to stay in contention for the Playoffs.
Next Episode Connor and Dustin are going to try and Instagram Live show!

Episode 159
And just like that, the 2023 season is in the books! Vegas has won the cup in just their 6th season as an NHL franchise. What an incredible run for both teams - battling through broken bones all the way.
Just like many playoffs, stars were born during this year’s run: Eichel proved to be one hell of a playmaker these playoffs, Marchessault went from undrafted to Conn Smythe (beating his former squad in the SCF), and Adin Hill was a BRICK WALL all playoffs, setting records along the way.
Summer is here! This means we will be going to a bi-weekly schedule, so we will be back in a couple weeks!
Wing Sauce Episode 70 - Paul Cotter
Wing Sauce
05/24/21 • 85 min
Episode 70 (Troy Stecher)
The boys were joined by Michigan-native, 2018 Vegas Golden Knights draft pick, and current forward for the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL), Paul Cotter. As Connor likes to say, we got to ‘peak behind the curtain’ of the life of a pro. Paul described some of the NHL teams he met with before being selected by Vegas - some were REALLY intimidating (Edmonton). Then he walked us through his first pro party with the boys. Did it live up to his expectations? Guess you’ll have to tune in to find out.
Paul is no stranger to throwing on a “knight uniform,” and no I’m not talking armor. Prior to his pro-debut, he played on a STACKED London Knights team in the OHL with Connor McMichael, Liam Foudy, Evan Bouchard, Alec Regula, and Adam Boqvist - to name a few.
He also plays in the Made in Michigan hockey league, where he is the captain of team Elk. Make sure to cheer on Paul and his team as they try to bring home the hardware this summer!
