All she has to do is hide, and she's an expert at that. It's the reason she's alive, and her family isn't. But as the people around her begin disappearing one by one, Mack realizes this competition is more sinister than even she imagined, and that together might be the only way to survive.
Fourteen competitors. Seven days. Everywhere to hide, but nowhere to run.

So we got into Jo's stash of edibles and things are not okay. Man swore Delta-8 doesn't affect her "that way"
...you just wait.
Available on Disney+ Turning Red is about 13 year old Meilin who finds herself turning into a physical red panda when her emotions get the best of her due to her ancestors association with red panda (a euphemism for not only getting your period for the first time, but also learning how to control your emotions and accepting all parts of yourself). Taking place in the year 2002 it's all about tamagotchis and boy bands for this preteen! Voiced by Rosalie Chiang, Sandra Oh, Jordan Fisher, Finneas O'Connell, directed by Domee Shi.
Death's a dirty job, but somebodies got to do it! And poor Charlie Asher is it. Written by Christopher Moore this quirky novel walks you through the life of Charlie Asher, a first time dad and brand new Death Merchant, responsible for procuring soul vessels from the recently deceased.
I want to explain something before we move on...right around the time Amanda attempts to dive into Doomed by Chuck Palahniuk, the edibles have fully kicked in. We can barely make out a coherent thought for almost 8 minutes between the fit of silent and tea kettle laughter, stomach pains, and the uncomfortable feeling of almost throwing up while tears stream our faces.
Doomed is the second book in this duo-logy, where Maddison is tasked, by God, to save the world from Hell. Once Man, finally gets her shit together she rated this book a 4/5.
Pieces of Her released on March 4th on Netflix, an 8 episode series based on a novel by the same name written by Karin Slaughter. Directed by Minkie Spiro, created by Charlotte Stoudt, starring Toni Collette, Bella Heathcote, Omari Hardwick, and Gil Birmingham. Andy (Heathcote) goes to lunch with her mother, Laura (Collette) for her 30th birthday. From the beginning, Laura and Andy's mother-daughter relationship seems difficult. When a shooter takes down a few patrons, Laura shields her daughter from the shooter, begging the culprit to shoot her instead of Andy. Moments later our killer is on the floor bleeding out from a neck wound and quickly dies. Fall down the rabbit whole with Andy as searches for answers to questions about who her mother is and what has she ben running from for the last 30 years.

First of all, does screen size matter? What makes an experience when watching a movie or show? The sound, the environment, the snacks?
Second, let's psychoanalyze ADHD as non-professionals, we know overstimulation can affect many people, but what about when it helps your focus? Some might not understand, but the more noise the better for Jo, just don't touch her. Her brain just can concentrate and absorb anything unless chaos is happening.
Now that that's out of the way, let's get to it:
Jaclyn Kelso and vo.Eros are divine. They are extremely talented voice actors who bring characters to life, in the spiciest way ever!!! Reading a book is one thing, but listening to them on audio, Mary Mother of fuck!
make sure to follow them on social media: @vo.eros and @udontknowjac404 on IG
The Four Leaf by Lee Jacqou @authorleej
Two best friends grow up together, fall in love, get married, and live happily ever after. But what about the one where the girl gets friend-zoned after an awkward attempt at making a move on her best friend? That’s my story.
More than a decade has passed, and while our platonic relationship somehow survived, I still cringe when I think about it. Like now.
I’m supposed to be getting my hotel ready for all the guests from the St.Patrick's Day parades, but instead, I’m staring at my best friend while he repairs one of my sinks. The memory and sting of his polite rejection years ago usually helps get my head on straight, but it’s not working this time. Not when there’s been an obvious shift in the air.
And definitely not when he just grabbed onto my hips, growled in my ear, and told me to run.
Scream for Us by Molly Doyle @realmollydoyle
After wandering into an alluring Halloween party that is said to go down in history, Quinn finds herself captivated by three masked men. As she immerses herself in a night of both pleasure and pain, she finally has the opportunity to bring her darkest fantasies to life.
Or death.
This is a Dark Romance/Suspense, RH Novella. Scream For Us contains mature and graphic content that is not suitable for all audiences. TRIGGER WARNINGS include: graphic sexually explicit scenes, physical assault, attempted sexual assault, violence, mentions of self harm/bullying, breath play/choking, knife play, fire play, blood/gore, voyeurism, mask kink, praise/degradation kink, and murder.
Black Mouth by Ronald Malfi
For nearly two decades, Jamie Warren has been running from darkness. He's haunted by a traumatic childhood and the guilt at having disappeared from his disabled brother's life. But then a series of unusual events reunites him with his estranged brother and their childhood friends, and none of them can deny the sense of fate that has seemingly drawn them back together.
Nor can they deny the memories of that summer, so long ago – the strange magic taught to them by an even stranger man, and the terrible act that has followed them all into adulthood. In the light of new danger, they must confront their past by facing their futures, and hunting down a man who may very well be a monster.
Devil in Ohio 2022 (Netflix) When a psychiatrist shelters a mysterious cult escapee, her world is turned upside down as the girl's arrival threatens to tear her own family apart.
I Came By 2022 (Netflix) Follows a young graffiti artist who discovers a shocking secret that would put him and the ones closest to him in danger.

Letterkenny available on HULU (2016-) A quick-witted, fast-paced snappy comedy about siblings Wayne (Jared Keeso) and Katy (Michelle Mylett) run a small farm and produce stand with Wayne's friends Daryl (Nathan Dales) and Squirrely (K. Trevor Wilson) helping out.
Uncharted (2022) Created by Naughtydog, we follow street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) who is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune amassed by Ferdinand Magellan, and lost 500 years ago by the House of Moncada (Antonio Banderas). Excuse me for burping! And poor Man couldn't help but short circuit for a minute there. Hilarious!
Let us begin with The Sanatorium by Sarah Pearse and while the pace of the book was wonderful and kept our favorite bibliophile intrigued enough for her to rate it a 3/5, it was a fallacy! False advertisement at its finest, promising a more loaded version of The Shining and to Manda's disappointment, the lack of ghosties just peeved her.
I fill Manda in on the final season of Power on STARZs, another slight disappointment to be honest. Don't get me wrong the show was great, but like I said before, I could've done without. The fact that I compared the last half of season 6 to whiskey dick...say no more bitch!
Ladies, be glad if you have a shitty credit score because men like Simon are out there.
The Tinder Swindler on Netflix walks us through this charismatic--gross--man and his swindling ways! Girls, ask many questions, ask for proof, and keep your real bitches close so they can check you!
Back in 2008 director Toby Wilkins traumatized us with Splinter available on HBOMax. He traps our actors Shea Whigham, Jill Wagner, and Paulo Costanzo in a gas station with a parasite of all things.
This creepy crawly gets under your skin and burst out of you, killing you, and animating your meat suit for whatever purpose it needs. This conversation also leads to a quick mention of the short YouTube film Other Side of the Box by Caleb J. Philips. It's fucked!
Now circling back to keeping your friends close and doing your research when dating now-a-days, brings Jo to understand that cotton candy grapes is yet another red flag!
Fresh is available on HULU and stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Sebastian Stan, and JoJo T. Gibbs. The dangers for women and online dating is a risk we take, but my god so is meeting a man in a super market. We find out Steve (Stan) has a knack for kidnapping women, dismembering them and selling their meat to the 1% of the 1%. Now Noa (Edgar-Jones) has to find a way to survive by any means necessary.
Please remember to always be safe and aware of your surroundings! Join us always every Wednesday!

Hi all!!!
This week we began discussing the wonderful weather we've been blessed with, but then the conversation turned into story time with Jo that lead to a brief mention to how scientist are questioning if women have the ability impregnate themselves, so exciting!
Let's start with Man and Jo's birthday celebration extravaganza!!! Which consisted of pedicures, piercings, and a mighty book haul.
We both picked up Anatomy a Love Story by Dana Shwartz. Man added to her stack Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco, and a couple of Chuck Palahniuks. While Jo added a little quirk to her stack with Christopher Moore's A Dirty Job, You Suck, and Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Friend.
We dip into the last episodes of Season 2 of Euphoria on HBOMax. I've never wanted to be so wrong but the unfortunate events that unravel in the last episode gripped our hearts tight and we find ourselves hoping for the best and preparing for the worst for Ashtray.
Heels (2021) on STARZs stars Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig created by Michael Waldron (producer of Loki and Rick and Morty), follows the complicated life of Jack and Ace Spade in this authentic portrayal of the wrestling world and its complexities in and out of the ring. The performances, the betrayals, the accents!
On March 4th the newest Batman finally hit theaters. The Batman directed by Matt Reeves starring Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Collin Farrell, Paul Dano, John Turturro, Andy Serkis and many more.
We follow a very angry and determined Bruce Wayne on his second year as Batman/Vengeance in this noire version of greatness. Heavy with dialogue and fighting, the play with lighting and darkness is everything we wanted from a batman movie. The Batman gives Bruce Wayne's well known tragedy a leg to stand on, giving his perfect family a major flaw he might not be able to live with while trying to stop The Riddler (Dano), who, in my opinion, gave Heath Ledger's Joker a run for his money, with a performing just as terrifying and maybe more psychotic.
We hope you've enjoyed our show so far and continue to tune in every Wednesday!

This is our final episode friends. I think I can confidently speak for both us when I say that while we are in love with this podcast, we both have outgrown it for now and need a desperate break, so we can focus on other projects we're excited about.
Hopefully, we'll come back during another time, maybe we'll post sporadically, but for now, this is “see ya later”. We'll keep you in the loop if anything changes. Thank you so much for all of your support during this last 4 years, we love you immensely!
**Hogwarts Legacy; just go play. Fuck everyone else and the negative comments.
**Destiny 2: Lightfall will be available on February 28th, just in time for my birfday y'all!!!!!!
**The Last of Us on HBO is still fucking dope AF!
Crimes of the Future (2022) available on Hulu. Humans adapt to a synthetic environment, with new transformations and mutations. With his partner Caprice (Léa Seydoux), Saul Tenser (Viggo Mortensen), celebrity performance artist, publicly showcases the metamorphosis of his organs in avant-garde performances.
Skinamarink (2022) available on Shudder. Two children wake up in the middle of the night to find their father is missing, and all the windows and doors in their home have vanished.
Bezlebuth (2017) After losing his family in an extremely tragic way, Detective Ritter must investigate a massacre at a school perpetrated by a student. What seemed like a pretty clear case becomes much more dense when a priest of the Vatican appears with another point of view.

Devils' Line (2018) available on Hulu. Vampires seem to be living among humans. Of course the government does not know of their existence, because their appearance does not differ from humans. They also do not need to drink blood, but when they get a craving or get angry, they can become uncontrollable monsters.
