Where We Go Next

Forrest Galante is a conservationist, wildlife biologist, and public advocate for endangered species. He's been called "The Indiana Jones of Biology" and is especially passionate about finding and preserving animals once thought to be extinct. He is the host of Extinct or Alive on Animal Planet, as well as the series Mysterious Creatures. He's hosted multiple Shark Week shows across the years, and been featured on many other broadcast, digital, and independent shows. His book Still Alive: A Wild Life of Rediscovery - part memoir, part biological adventure - was published in 2021. And he's recently been doing work with Colossal Biosciences, a de-extinction company working to bring back the woolly mammoth, the thylacine, the dodo, and more.
