For the past 12 years, Penny has been working full-time in IT as a project manager with big tech companies. In that time she’s also had two kids who are now 3 and 1. Life as a toddler mom keeps Penny on her toes, as does a demanding work schedule.
As Penny’s kids grow and start to explore the world, Penny is also thinking about what’s next for her and wondering if she still wants to be full-time with one company. She’s bored and isn’t as excited about what the next step with this company would be. The idea of doing contract work has crossed her mind to allow for more flexibility and potentially a higher per project rate but she doesn’t know where to start.
Join Becca and Marie to talk through Penny’s contract considerations and learn how contract work may, or may not, be a good fit for you.
