While walking home on a rainy day, Penny and Spicy come across some of their favorite neighbors and get to know them better. However, Penny loses T.A. before she can recite the poem that would transform him into a magical talking bear. Penny finds hope in a prayer.

Penny Wright is a preschooler who lives in a multi-generational household. Her life takes a magical turn when she finds a teddy bear in a box of her grandfather's belongings during a game of hide-and-seek with her grandmother, Spicy.
