D.W.B.W.W.G. - Driving While Black With White Girl
This week’s episode discusses Driving While Black (DWB) and the even more specific interracial police stops of DWBWWG, Driving While Black With White Girl. Studies have shown that Black drivers are stopped at higher rates than White drivers, treated less respectfully, are more likely to be searched, more likely to be arrested, and more likely to be exposed to excessive force than White drivers. Some of the statistics of DWB and personal experiences of DWBWWG police stops are shared.
