Well if you are one of the unlucky ones who tell the world every bit of information that you do such as " I am going on vacay for two weeks out of the country" and say Villain X sees that information..
well Mr. X can find out more information about you and rob ya blind.
It has happened and was reported.
In this video we talk about twitter and being safe while using it.

Ever seen the saying retweet or RT and not really sure what it is?
To "retweet" is to repeat/quote someone's tweet. I usually do it when I come across an interesting tweet and want to send it on down my twitter stream so that my tweeps who follow me will get to see it as well. I don't do it that often but when I do I will usually do it with something I really find entertaining, interesting, or useful.

How do I start using Twitter?

Want to know how to get started with Twitter?
First you will need to go to twitter.com and then click on the
Get Started - Join button (see screen shot below)
Once you click on the get started button
you will need to complete the process.
During this process I recommend that you find a good close up picture of yourself so that you can use immediately for your bio pic.
The bio section is very important when getting
started with Twitter. People will get to know you
and the first impression is key. If somebody was searching for others with the same interests then it will be much easier to find them if that information is within the bio.
We'll go over a little more about signing up with twitter with our fun and educational video below.

Twitter by SMS:
Sending updates to Twitter while you're away from your computer makes things much more interesting.
It's all done through text messages (aka "SMS"), which you probably use all the time anyway, so there's not much to learn.
Twitter doesn't charge anything for this, but be sure to know what your text plan looks like with your wireless carrier.
If you use your mobile in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, or India you can also receive updates via SMS. You can text "OFF" to stop receiving and "ON" to start again.
