Why did you start this show?
I started with a love of all things post-apocalyptic! Fallout, Mad Max, The Last of Us, you name it! I had the idea in my head for several years, and had some time during the pandemic to make my dream a reality.
What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?
I hope listeners get to engage with some interesting stories and adventures with Grimm Grinner out in the Canadian wasteland.
Which episode should someone start with?
At the beginning! It's a narrative-driven podcast, so if you're going to start anywhere, start at the Prologue.
Which have been your favourite episodes so far?
So far, the Judgement arc, and some of the stuff I've put out for season 5 are some of my favourites. And Spool of Red Thread! Love me a wasteland fable.
Which episode are you most proud of?
It hasn't come out yet! But soon.
What is your vision for your show?
To span several more seasons, and build a community enjoying this world I play in. Ideally I can one day have the podcast become my full-time gig.
What is your favourite other podcast that isn't yours?
Welcome To Nightvale and Thirteen: A Fallout Podcast! Both so much fun!
How did you come up with the name for your podcast?
I took a little bit of influence from the naming convention of Welcome To Nightvale, but with my own post-apoc charm. After naming it, I found out the same phrase is emblazoned on signs at Wasteland Weekend, which I love.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I'm nerdy, and crafty. I love post-apocalyptic fiction, but also have a passion for fantasy, having grown up with LOTR and D&D. Always writing and telling stories, and love to craft trinkets for friends and family to go with those stories.
