I met these 2 for the first time at their incredible event in Barcelona where they had some big name speakers like Emily Lonetto, Maguire, and Tambien studio presented some of their beautiful work - you’ve probably seen it in the Webflow space. It’s characterised by beautiful, large images, gsap animations, and large sans serif fonts. I recommend checking out their beautiful work on the Tambien studio website after this episode! Along with Mael Ruffini, their studio punches well above their weight both in quality of work, size of clients and content output. But their journey to building their studio has not been linear as you’re about to hear.

Fungi comes from a science background with a Batchelor of Science in Human Anatomy and Physiology & Biochemistry. She initially became interested in design after watching a Photoshop tutorial and from then she was hooked, going down the rabbit hole of design to learn different softwares and grow as a designer. She found her brand voice and design style when she tied her background from Harare in Zimbabwe to her Webflow work. Her style is heavily influenced by Afrikan culture: patterns, historic writings, graphic symbols and colour as a form of visual and global communication.
