Temperatures will continue to climb on Friday and remain hot into the weekend, with many locations seeing temperatures near, or even slightly above, 110 degrees. Heat index values will stay close to actual temperatures for most locations.

An isolated storm is possible across portions of Central Texas this afternoon. Tonight's temperatures will be similar to the past several nights with lows from the mid-70s to the mid-80s. The excessive heat and breezy conditions during the afternoon will result in an elevated critical fire threat.
