Ep 68 // Andrew Herzog - School
Wear Many Hats
09/27/21 • 44 min
Andrew Herzog is a multidisciplinary conceptual artist and designer and is the Partner and Director for School, a creative design studio founded by two designer-engineer-types. His artworks have occupied museums, galleries, and city streets.
School’s select works include The New Yorker, Haus, Publik Library, and one of my favorite brands, Entireworld.
I first heard of Andrew through his previous design studio HAWRAF and just kept following their journey after that. Andrew has also led projects at Google Creative Lab. He also is a professor at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
I threw my hat in the ring to work at School but no dice, instead was able to have him on the podcast.
Let’s go to school, no bus, with Andrew Herzog.
Ep 63 // Seanella Abraham - Artsy Magazine
Wear Many Hats
08/30/21 • 62 min
Seanella Abraham is the Editor In Chief at Artsy Magazine. I first ran into her when I was working at the Canal Street Market and she told me to come check out the Kid Super booth where designer Colm Dillane was selling a few pieces of his line there and to check it out. As a kid with no money I was like yeah yeah maybe but having Seanella come up to me was a memorable moment that I will never forget.
She was the glue that connected all of us. Artsy Magazine spills attention exclusively on emerging artists, designers and creative self starters.
She has featured friend of the pod, Naoko over at Kabuki NY in Artsy Magazine’s Shopify series. On the site she interviews various artists, musicians, and brands and a morning brew series for mental health and productivity.
Artsy, Art / Rebel / Trends / Style / Youth
Please welcome Seanella Abraham to Wear Many Hats.

Gab went to UArts like most of my good friends. This is starting to feel like a UArts podcast, no sponsored content. Not an ad for UArts.
We had Gab DJ one of our Dahsar Studio events at W/N W/N.
Me and Gab met at all the Uarts parties, and then the legendary parties like Milk+ and all the best parties at The Barbary.
Get high with Gab Bonghi.
Please welcome Gab Bonghi to Wear Many Hats.

Ep 62 // Allister Ann
Wear Many Hats
08/26/21 • 53 min
Allister Ann is a photographer that started her documenting career shooting The Civil Wars and then was the personal photographer for Kenny Chesney. Two musicians I’m not into but she has shot my favorites, Dolly Parton, Butch Walker, Chelsea Wolfe, Jenny Lewis, Adele and Reggie Watts.
I stumbled upon her work after having friend of the pod Matt Maust and viewing her sick photos of Cold War Kids which was also featured in a Cold War Kids music video. Found her work through a friend of the pod, Kamtin, from The Chain Gang of 1975 as well.
She’s also a music video director and has directed videos for John Paul White, Dan Auerbach, and The Shelters.
This is not a photography podcast, we’re not going to be nerdying out on Rollieflexes, Rolexes or who’s in our Rolodexes.
Please welcome Allister Ann to Wear Many Hats.
Ep 61 // Ryan Evans
Wear Many Hats
08/22/21 • 44 min
Ryan Evans is a Creative Consultant based out in New Jersey but during the day he works as a Senior Designer at Boyds, a Philadelphia Landmark Department Store. No Macy’s, No Barneys, No Century 21s, No Real Reals. No Sotheby’s. No Sak’s. No Farfetches. No Garmentary. No Net-A-Porter. No SSENSE. Ok I’m done.
Ryan is known for his poster cut outs that are fun sticker ideas collages, you name it. The colors are bright, psychedelic, and every one of them looks like your next acid tab that you’re about to take.
Ryan’s signature design has been able to collaborate with Pedals and Peacocks, Checks Downtown, and Zeit Campus. All of whom I’ve never heard of before but then there’s New Balance and how I met him thru the grapevine of This Corner.
I’m not trying to put Ryan in a corner but now he’s my corner.
Please welcome Ryan Evans to Wear Many Hats.
