Are you aware of the extent of modern slavery in todays world? In our neighbourhoods? The Hope for Justice mission is simple; End Slavery. Change Lives. Hope for Justice exists to bring an end to modern slavery by preventing exploitation, rescuing victims, restoring lives, and reforming society.
Susan Banister has found her purpose. Susan joined the global anti-slavery charity Hope for Justice in 2017 and she also set up Slave-Free Alliance in 2018.

Susan has hands on experience of rescuing victims of forced labour in the UK and understands the devastating effect this crime has and how victims and businesses can find themselves exploited. She is dedicated to creating awareness about this sinsiter problem.

Susan currently works with businesses looking at modern slavery in their own organisations and their supply chains. She leads a number of modern slavery working groups including the waste and recycling and utilities sectors.
Susan uses walking as a tool in her emotional armoury against the stresses and strains of this heavy career and personal responsibility. You are going to love Susan. And you will learn a lot in this episode. It truly deserves your attention.

He grew up in the farming community of Porangahau, on the coast of Hawkes Bay NZ where he farmed for 25 years, with 15 of these from a wheelchair and now lives between Waipukurau and Takapau, with his wife Kathy on a small block. He has 4 children and 3 Grandchildren.

Wayne says his sporting accident in 1995, leaving him C5 Tetraplegic, was the catalyst for his tremendous on-going journey into personal development, which has given him the beautiful life that he loves and is so very grateful for.
