Choosing video production platforms - why it's not as easy as "just switch" (Interview)

Why wouldn't professional/daily video editors "just switch" the software that they use? What goes into choosing such a platform? I chat with Dillon (at length) about the thought processes involved in choosing a NLE platform, the problems with choosing open source software (or Linux) as a video professional, and why we use Adobe software, even if we don't entirely recommend them to everyone.
