Voice Up For The Voiceless

Voice Up For The Voiceless

Angela Williams and Katy Sudano

We interview survivors of child sexual abuse and exploitation, allowing them to share their stories of survival. We also are hearing from advocates working in the trenches on the issue of child sexual abuse rescue, restoration, and prevention.

We believe that through communication and education, the stigma of child sexual abuse can be removed from the victim and placed on the predator, where it belongs. By giving this epidemic visibility, we can focus society on the issue and, as a result, become a VOICE for the voiceless.

The Lies We Believe Series – Part 8: "I Can't Trust Anyone – And How to Build a Bridge Back to Trust.”

"After what I went through, how can I ever trust again?" "Everyone that said they loved me either betrayed me, abandoned me, neglected me, abused me or just ignored me and that hurt," says Angela Williams.

If you’ve ever felt this, you are not alone.

Join co-hosts Angela Williams and Crysta Marshall as they unpack one of the deepest wounds survivors face — broken trust. In this episode, we dive into the pain, the fear, and most importantly — the path to rebuild trust without shame or pressure.

Tips for Trusting Again:

  1. Start with trusting yourself — your intuition is powerful.
  2. Allow trust to grow slowly, in safe and consistent spaces.
  3. Set clear boundaries — trust doesn’t mean giving everyone access.
  4. Trust in God’s character — He is not like those who hurt you.
  5. Find one safe person and practice vulnerability in small steps.

You deserve love, safety, and connection again — on your terms.
