It was March 23, 2015, in the early afternoon. Around 1:55pm, the police department in Vallejo, California received a call from a man named Aaron Quinn, telling them that his girlfriend had been taken by masked intruders and that he didn’t know where she had gone. He told them he had witnessed the whole kidnapping, but couldn’t report it right away because he’d been blindfolded, drugged, and threatened not to call the police. The following few days would be a roller coaster for Aaron, the investigators, and the community.
