S6:E18 – Toys R Us Nintendo Commercial
Video Death Loop
05/13/22 • 40 min
Behold! A Nintendo! At your local mega toy store, even! Does that other store have? We say nay! Don’t even look in that trash fire they call a “shoppe”. We know they don’t have it because we of Toys R’ Us say they don’t! We made the deal with Nintendo! It’s our stock! You can’t have it! Unless you want to buy it from us? Then, okay. Maybe we can come to some sort of arrangement. We’ll meet in a secure location. Say, at our Toys R’ Us stores all across the US? Video Game Aisle? Ask for Rex at the video game counter. He’s the one with the knife wounds.
John Hurst is your host this week and he’s trying to prevent the aging process by not learning. Aaron Littleton is your co-host and he found a loop hole to get out of podcast conversations.

S6:E41 – Yeah Yeah Yeahs – “Maps” Music Video
Video Death Loop
11/11/22 • 0 min
It’s the post Thanksgiving gathering with your friends from high school. You’re tired of the family that made you leave the town so it’s time to leave them again and see the real reason why you return. That gang’s all here. You smile and grab a Brand Beer from the Brand Cooler. Life is good. Rock Band is setup but no one is playing. The song on the screen is a 30 second loop of “Maps”.
“Hey, how come no one is playing?” you ask?
“It’s because we’ll have to unlock all the songs again.” one replies, looking for a discarded red solo cup that definitely wasn’t theirs earlier in the night.
“Well, we can do that! Come on, everyone!” you reply, crushing the can with one hand and walking towards the microphone. No one moves. “Oh come on, it’ll be fun!” you try to convince them. They are unmoved, far more interested in what appeared to be a rudimentary game of beer pong from other discarded red cups.
“Well, fine, I can do this myself!” you say, grabbing both guitars. You’re going to be the star of the night for this. It’s time to enact the plan. You just know the drumsticks go last.
Aaron Littleton is your host this week and he is graded on a 437 question system. John Hurst is your at max 25% co-hurst and he has to sit furthest from the Apple II.

S6:E32 – 1993 Pepsi Commercial Featuring Shaq
Video Death Loop
08/26/22 • -1 min
Shaq goes out onto the ice, slipping on his curling shoes and sliding out to eruptious applause. Pepsi has abandoned him, but none of these fans will. They know his ability to throw the rock, to hurry hard into the goal; Charles Barkley agrees. There is only one obstacle between him and Olympic glory: A pair of very comfortable shorts. You need pants out there, Shaq. It’s cold out there. Shaq. Shaq.
John Hurst is your host this week and he is going to lick that battery. Aaron Littleton is your co-host and he is extremely critical about Winter Olympic locations.

S2:E22 – Dragon Ball Z TV Opening
Video Death Loop
02/02/18 • -1 min
Dragon Ball Z seems to be bubbling its way up a lot lately. Maybe it’s nostalgia, maybe it’s the new show, or maybe it has something to do with the radical sequel to Nathaniel Hawthorne’s magnum opus: The Scarlet Letter Z.
Before we get there, though, we’ve got to fulfill the destiny we created for ourselves in our Cheetos Paws episode and eat an edible packing peanut!
John Hurst hosts this episode and chooses the Dragon Ball Z TV opening for our video. Aaron Littleton cohosts and draws a pretty picture.

S8:E5 – IBM Lotus Sametime for IBM Lotus Notes Users
Video Death Loop
02/23/24 • -1 min
It’s another day at the workplace. Everything is the exact same. The cafeteria ran out of bananas again. Your co-worker can’t stop yapping about the event of the moment. Your boss wants a report in. If only something could help alleviate this boredom! Perhaps a chatting application built into my required mailing software for my company’s intranet! Then maybe I can finally talk to Portugal and find out what they’re really into! That’s productivity!
John Hurst is your host this week and he doesn’t know how even Even Stevens really is. Aaron Littleton is your host and he has a hole to fill!

S5:E44 – Ducks annihilate a bowl of peas
Video Death Loop
11/12/21 • -1 min
Ducks, man. Ducks love some peas. They love them more than I think I love any actual food as a human, if this video is any proof. We here at Video Death Loop are both in awe and terrfied of the ability of a duck to tear through and muddy up a bowl that once had peas in it even when they seem to be perfefctly clean. Where did the dirt come from? Is it all within! Do they mix it with the peas to make some sort of terrifying chocolate vegetable treat? The world may never know, except for the ducks of the world. And they grow with power with every bowl of delicious green veggies given to them. Be ready. Tonight we ride.
Aaron Littleton is your host and he is turning safe search off for Poland. John Hurst is your co-host and he is accidentally making way too many horse-sized animals that are not horses.

Aaron Littleton is your host this week and he’s the least prime number possible. John Hurst is your co-host and he’s remembering the second Transformer movie like a fever dream (Which it is.)

Summer may be winding down in the real life that you and live in, but it’s still going strong in the Bachelor in Paradise! Why, David Spade is hosting! And they got all these names having fun on the screen! Some of them may be rats habitating a facsimile of a human skin designed to trick the other contestants! Others might be playing volleyball! Fun?!

S2:E50 – The 1982 World’s Fair Commercial
Video Death Loop
08/31/18 • -1 min
Living under the long shadow of the Sunsphere, we pay homage daily to its glittering façade. Those who do not risk incurring the wroth of the Firemen, those most in thrall to its shining, fiery ways. Long, long is the arm of the 1982 World’s Fair and we may find freedom only in the cracks and shadows. Should you escape and see my darling Quiznos on your travels, bid them well.
I guess we, uh, we watched a commercial for the 1982 World’s Fair this week.
John Hurst hosts and welcomes you to this establishment. Aaron Littleton co-hosts and detests robots.
