Welcome, My name is Tracey Cook and this is the podcast series Victim to Victory. This series gives a voice to those who have overcome challenges in all forms, that dare greatly to share their real stories, that have seen hope and rose above those adversities to become victorious, to go on to support and inspire others to do the same.

Over the last 20 years Kim has taught thousands of people how to crack themselves up and feel like happy dancing! She shows people how to laugh more and stress less, so they can enjoy life NOW — because life is too short to keep postponing joy!

As a speaker and online teacher, Kim's mission is to show people how to reclaim and embody their joyful self, even if they've been through unexpected tough times that have knocked the wind our of their sails.

She calls upon her theater background to keep her audiences and students entertained as they learn. (In her 20s she wrote, produced, and performed a one woman show in New York where she played 26 different characters.)

After rediscovering you joyful self during a health challenge, she has shared her mission of joy and laughter with a wide variety of groups — corporations, hospitals, conferences, churches, community events, etc. She also offers programs through her online school, The Joyful Being® Academy. Over and over she has seen the colossal power of laughter & joy — guiding people to make that beautiful shift from tense & worried, to overflowing with vibrant & jubilant life-force! She equips people with tools to continue shining their true Joyful Being® into the world.

Kim also has many years of experience as a yoga instructor, meditation teacher, stress relief strategist and big kid at heart! She draws upon her wealth of knowledge to create unique programs that are fun, experiential, and truly transformational.

Emmitt A. Savannah III has a deep passion for leadership and encouraging others and enjoys forming bonds with the people he meets. Emmitt is passionate about improving others' quality of life and desires to share his experience and knowledge with the world through writing and speaking.

Emmitt's faith as a Christ-follower is not something he takes out of his pocket just on Sunday. His faith is demonstrated through how he lives-forming interpersonal relationships by listening to and encouraging others, being kind and patient, seeking understanding, and exercising as much wisdom as possible in every situation and decision.

Emmitt enjoys adding value to people and whatever he puts his hand to work on and with, including his family, friends, colleagues at his workplace, and whoever happens to cross his path in either a moment or a series of shared experiences.

Residing in Houston, TX with his wife and children, Emmitt plans to continue his writing endeavors in authoring more books.

Ryan Johnson doesn't come from abuse, divorce, tragedy or alike. His story is very relatable. Ryan battled through alcohol and drug addiction. The journey of overcoming those addictions and the relationship breakdowns as a result of self destruct still leaves him with additional healing to work through.

Ryan (RJ) is a sole father parent with 100% custody of his young daughter. If it wasn't for his young daughter's love & a breakthrough moment of Ryan wanting to be the best father he possibly can be for his daughter, his world might be a little different today.
