The October 11, 2020 Worship Service was led by Rev. Jaye Brooks.
When the storm is coming, we brace ourselves for it. We hunker down. Powerful storms are usually brief and then we come out into the sunshine. It's different when we have a stretch of prolonged cloudiness, when day after day the sky is overcast. How do we cope with the clouds that linger in our lives? Is there really a "silver lining?" Can we look at clouds from "both sides now?" We're now in a time, an era, when even the word "blue" has multiple meanings--the sadness that often accompanies cloudy skies, and the joyous celebration when the clouds clear and the sky is a deep, beautiful blue.
