As part of our collaboration with WeCreateMusic in December, Unsigned Berlin interviewed more business-side guests than the usual lineup of artists at the German Songwriting Awards. In this episode, Sebastian talks with Jens-Markus Wegener - founder of publishing company AMV (credits including Drake and AC/DC) and A&R who was responsible for signing German acts such as AK Ausserkontrolle and FLER. They talk about his criteria for artists, starting a publishing house today, and his work as director of publishing at Guesstimate.
