Helle Crafts was a beautiful young woman and flight attendant and mother of three who had the gift of gab in the way that she spoke multiple languages and could understand more. Her marriage to Richard Crafts was troubled and she hired a private investigator to gather evidence of his extramarital affairs before she officially filed for divorce. On November 18, 1986 she was dropped off at her Newtown, Connecticut home by a co-worker and was never seen again. Her case resulted in the first murder conviction in the state of Connecticut without a body and was inspiration behind one of the most iconic scenes in the movie "Fargo"
