2023 recap
Unfortunately Fortunate Podcast
06/06/24 • 5 min
In this short episode, I talk about the main things I’ve taken away from this year - that time does heal wounds, that love does find us when we least expect it, and that it’s ok to not know what you’re doing.
Previously, I was the type of person who stressed about things before there was anything to stress about, but this year I’ve learnt to calm down, to only focus on the things that I can control, and to accept not always knowing what the next step is.
Thank you to those who played a part in my life this year, big or small. Wishing a Happy New Year to you all.

The Tinder vendetta & the reason I ditched the apps forever
Unfortunately Fortunate Podcast
11/10/23 • 14 min
Did you know being verified on Tinder doesn’t actually mean it’s the person in the photos? Did you know you can find out when someone created their Instagram account and how many times they’ve changed their username?
These are the things I discovered throughout my dating journey. From benchwarmers, breadcrumbers, catfishes, ghosts and zombies who rise from the dead, love bombers, narcissists and baby mama drama, I’ve experienced it all, but luckily for you, I’m here to share the tips and tricks I learned along the way!
*I meant bureau, not borough (I can't believe I did that!)

The universal laws & what they stand for
Unfortunately Fortunate Podcast
11/24/23 • 17 min
You may have heard about the Law of Attraction or the Law of Vibration, but do you truly know how they and the other universal laws work?
It's just as important to understand how not to pull the things that you don't want into your life as it is to attract the things you do want, so I've shared everything you need to know.

Ditch the tissues, let's get over the abandonment issues
Unfortunately Fortunate Podcast
12/08/23 • 16 min
Growing up with an absent parent creates a void that can never really be filled, and not enough people have spoken about the grief of having to decide to cut someone out of your life, not because you want to, but because you have to, so I thought I would share my experience of growing up with an absent parent, and how I made the decision to move forward without allowing the ache and pain to hold me back.

2023 recap
Unfortunately Fortunate Podcast
12/22/23 • 5 min
Towards the end of each year, I like to reflect on the year I’ve had and set my intentions for the one ahead. In this short episode, I talk about the main things I’ve learnt from this year - that time does heal wounds, that love does find us when we least expect it, and that it’s ok to not know what you’re doing.
Previously, I was the type of person who stressed about things before there was anything to stress about, but this year I’ve learnt to calm down, to only focus on the things that I can control, and to accept not always knowing what the next step is.
One of the things I, and so many others struggle with, is trying to figure out what our purpose in life is. It’s only recently I accepted the meaning of my life is whatever meaning I give to it because what you do with your life is only as good as why you are doing it.
