Secret War is a multi-part series discussing the history of the relationship between the United States of America, and the Peoples Republic of China. With the relationship between the two super powers deteriorating in the last 4 years, we have to establish a framework of what the Sino-American relationship has been before we talk about what the relationship will be. In part 1 we discuss the historic relationship that the U.S. and China share, dating back to the 19th Century, In light of recent reporting, the COVID19 pandemic is one domino in the many dominoes that have fallen in what the Chinese refer to as "The Marathon". This race is the race to be the worlds one and only super-power, this race is one that the United States didn't even know was happening, or at the very least, we ignored all the redflags (no pun intended) telling us that this race was happening. When did the marathon start? Who are the main actors? Where will the race end? These are all questions that will be answered in this series. Sources: Pillsbury, Michael.
