From my perspective (Ash) it'd have to be the John Robertson Interview.

Which episode are you most proud of?

The first episode of the reboot (GameCenter CX), because it was such a departure from previous subjects and required a very different approach to the research

What is your vision for your show?

To build on our existing audience, make new friends and raise awareness of shows from around the world, especially shows that are not native English language.

What is your favourite other podcast that isn't yours?

Probably CheapShow, tied with We Hate Movies.

How did you come up with the name for your podcast?

In GamesMaster you had 'The Consoletation Zone' for information, hints and cheats, so 'Under Consoletation' made a good play on words. It's become our brand so stays with us beyond the original mission brief!

Tell us a bit about yourself

My name is Ash, I have been an internet broadcaster since 2005, and specifically a podcaster since 2010. Under Consoletation has been the longest running podcast I've been involved in and also the most consistent, releasing episodes weekly between 2020 and 2023, and fortnightly from 2024 onwards. I am also a Twitch streamer, looking to see if there's room in that space for someone north of 40 who is an average gamer with more bad jokes and puns than is entirely healthy.
