Hollywood has made us believe that everyone with cancer looks ill, but what does a sick person actually look like? Some cancers are apparent; you lose hair in chemo, you have visible body parts removed. But what about those whose cancer is hidden? Or patients who try to look good in public? Does it mean they're better? Does it mean you should make assumptions about them?
