Two Broad Casters

The Two Broads have a conversation on this episode about how convenience, or a least the sales pitch of it, has led us into the really deep end of consumerism. We wonder if we are better off for it all despite the obviousness of much of it. Do we purchase without much real thought whenever something is sold as making our lives easier or better in some ways? Has all of that stuff we have bought lived up to its promise? Do we even use half of the stuff we have? Why do we think we have to constantly buy stuff? We bring up this topic in an effort to perhaps put some thought into how we are actually managing our lives though our stuff and our finances and our impulses to over buy. Perhaps we should spend a little more time being a producer of something at least once in a while as being known as consumers starts to feel heavy.

In this episode, in an attempt to soften the edges to so many campaign weary and anxiety stricken hearts the Two Broads are here to give a possible moment to readjust perspectives. Propaganda is the topic on this cast. A little background about it, what it is, how it's used and more. We even created a game called Spot The Ganda which we feel could aid humanity in surviving what now seems like an every four year virus that needs inoculation. Great conversation with 2+1 broad, Stacy Dam, owner of Set Your Sites which is an idea and service that brings campgrounds into the 21st century. We loved hearing this idea of hers that is now catching some major waves and even more fascinating is the story of when she decided to actually give what was "just an idea" her attention and roll the dice. Stacy came through quite an ordeal which left her leaning towards another way of life for her and her family. She went through a real rough season and is now understanding and seeing the lessons and the rewards of making a big change. This is a great cast for anyone who is an idea person who wishes to actually turn the idea into more than that. A passionate and motivating cast to be sure and we hope it leaves your feeling as pumped up as it did us.
