As we continue our celebration of Star Trek: Voyager's 25th Anniversary, this week we take a look that a character that came on board almost mid-way through the series but very quickly became nothing short of legendary.

Born Annika Hansen, she was assimilated by the Borg at six years old. Eighteen years later, she would be separated from the Collective and become a valued member of the Starship Voyager's crew. This week, we look at the character of Seven of Nine!

This was a character that added some new qualities and different relationships for Voyager and, once again, gave us a character struggling with the concept of their own humanity--albeit in a very different way. We'll discuss why this character has become one we truly love and why we're very glad her story is far from over!

No One Talks Trek Like We Do.

Well, here we are. Who would have thought two and a half years ago when we started this incredible journey that we would be bringing you Episode 100 of the Trek Geeks Podcast. We could not be more thankful to each and every one of our listeners for making this happen. We are so grateful to all of you. For this wonderful occasion we felt we wanted to do something special and unique. It isn't everyday you celebrate Episode 100, so we wanted it to be something that is very near and dear to our hearts.

In November of 2015, we had the trip of a lifetime. Vic Mignogna, creator, executive producer and star of Star Trek Continues, invited us to Stage 9 while the cast and crew were filming Episodes 6 and 7. We were able to witness first hand what it was like to see an episode of Star Trek being made and we were able to walk the corridors of the U.S.S. Enterprise. We met so many wonderful people, we became friends with all of them, and most importantly we became family. It was an experience like none other so we wanted to share that experience with you.

We hope you enjoy our audio documentary of our experience on the set of Star Trek Continues in our super-sized Episode 100: A Journey to Future's Past, Part 1.

SPECIAL THANKS

One mistake can change everything.

That's the lesson learned by Ensign Harry Kim in the 100th episode of Star Trek: Voyager.

This week, Dan and Bill dive in on the episode, "Timeless," and discuss some of it's finer points. Make no mistake: this is some of the best material the writers ever gave Garrett Wang, and we'll talk about why.

Plus, we'll find out why this episode means so much to Dan, and why he almost selected it for his "one episode" in the Ask Us Anything we did in Episode 62.

We'll also talk about the latest news from our friends at TrekNews.net, including a brand new roller coaster, the Star Trek takeover of SDCC, and an update on the Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan BluRay Replacement program.

We promise not to crash land on a barren ice planet, so join us for Episode 67, won't you?
