In the late 1970s, a man named Robert Lichfield showed up on the doorsteps of Provo Canyon School, looking to get his start in the troubled teen industry. He would go on to create WWASP, or the Worldwide Association of Specialty Programs and Schools - the largest network of teen treatment programs in the history of the industry.
