Listener Peter Celeste joins Jeremy to discuss his climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Peter recounts his epic adventure to reach the summit of the tallest mountain in Africa. The route takes trekkers from the Indian border on the plains of Southern Nepal through the foothills of the Himalayas, and finally through the high Himalayas to the border with China. Along the way, trekkers experience a wide variety of cities and towns, and the various etnnic groups and cultures that inhabit them.
